Go on, tell us the worst you've encountered. Evil females tend to come across more intimidating to me at times then even evil male characters.

So yeah, besides Lara Croft who should be reported to the RSPCA / NSPCA for animal and human cruelty, who else pops into mind.

Off the top of my head, I'd probably put it at a tossup between Kreia from KotOR2, and Ravel from PS:T.

What can I say? I likes my evil thoughtful and manipulative.

To be quite honest, my renegade FemShep trounces just about anyone. Although Kreia is a good choice.

Hm....

Jill Valentine (RE5)

Bridgette Tenenbaum (Bioshock, evil before the events of the campaign)

and

Alma (FEAR)

Technically not the worst of the worst...but they were what I can remember off the top of my head.

Kyoka from A Drug That Makes You Dream.

Because oftentimes, the most realistic cruelty is also the most intolerable.

I've never played the game, but wasn't the villain from FF8 incredibly evil?
If by evil you mean stupid, lacking in motivation and unopposed because the characters around her are even dumber than she is.

Hrmmm...
Morrigan,
Morrigan,
Morrigan,
Morrigan!
[sub] Or maybe not?[/sub]

I did manage to make her express feelings beside hatred, disdain, and malice by being nice to her.

My vote goes to Ashera from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Man, she is one evil goddess.

I have a feeling she will be one of the most evil video game villains as well as being a very memorable one, that being said...I can not wait for Uncharted 3

Saya, just Saya.

Eating people, Murder, "human experiments", rape, some more murder, and finally turning the entire planet into a living hell. The "good" ending is the one where she gets frozen, blasted with a shotgun, then stomped on repeatedly till she's a pile of mush.

There's always an evil female in every Bioware game sooooo i'll go with Flemeth from DA:O

I mean having a daughter just to
use her as a sacrifice later to extend your own lifespan is pretty evil

Speaking of evil females...

Rip Van Winkle from Hellsing Ultimate for having the best catchphase ever

I was gonna go with Kerrigan, but seeing someone up there mention Kreia...yeah, I gotta go with Kreia.

"What do you wish to hear? That I once believed in the code of the Jedi? That I felt the call of the Sith, that perhaps, once, I held the galaxy by its throat? That for every good work that I did, I brought equal harm upon the galaxy? That perhaps the greatest of the Sith Lords knew of evil, they learned from me?"

Ravel didn't seem evil to me, as such. Insane, messed up and so forth, certainly, but not enough to qualify as "most" evil. Maybe she comes across as too sympathetic for that, I don't know. Excellent character, though.

Dahlia Gillespie from the original Silent Hill series. She embodies crazy evil to me. At first she seems an eccentric, religious woman then you realize what she did and she brings a new layer of crazy sinister to me.

Sonia from Fire Emblem

Anyone who's played the game knows what I'm talking about. That demon deserved worse than what she got. To make matters worse, she's also actually kinda hot.

Listing my choice would be a bit of a spoiler, given the nature of the game/anime/manga. However, that being said, it's kind of a spoiler to even mention her in a spoiler box, as it gives away that this game's villain is female, giving a minor clue as to who it is. Ah well, here we go. My choice is in Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni:

Miyo Takano. Think about it. Fine, she had kind of a messed up childhood, and her adoptive grandfather's work was laughed at and scorned despite its implications. But she goes so insane, and wants to become a god so much, she's prepared to commit genocide on a whole village, murder her lover and her colleagues, and murder a bunch of innocent kids in cold blood just for that purpose. And she does this thousands of times, in a Groundhog Day time loop. Seriously, the only way she could be more evil is if she was aware of the loop and still kept doing it...

Though to be fair, I did also like her as a character, and I was glad that she got some sort of redemption at the very end of it all, in the anime at least...

I'm sorry, the correct answer was SHODAN.

But, just for the record, if we had to choose which cybernetic jackboot pressed on the throat of existence for all time, we?d be perfectly unhappy with hers.
-From The Girl Who Wanted To Be God, a damned fine read!
