Who's the most famous person you've ever met? I would have to say Dave Gilmour from Pink Floyd who I met at a parent's evening - his son's in my class.

Well, I've met myself, but aside from that, none.

EDIT: But what's the big deal with famous people?
Why do people care so much? And what's so special about it?

He is soooooooooooo handsome in real life, I mean I'm a good looking guy but he blows me out of the water with his "sexy face", damn i wish I could do a sexy face like him.

I bumped into and had a brief chat with Sven Goran Erikson, former England football manager, at Amsterdam airport.

I got to interview the lass who wrote that biography about the Chinese girl living during China's Cultural Revolution. It's 4:00 AM here though, so I can't for the life of me remember her name or the title of the book.

Uhm, the Village people when I was 4, Mr. T when I was 8, the drummer from INXS (long story) when I was 21, Henry Rollins when I was 23, Richard Fidler by accident in a comic shop a few years ago, and Jamie Dunn in a games workshop store at least 8 years ago (those last two are aussies, though some americans and brits over 24 may know who Fidler is).

[Edit] Oh yeah, in my mid-20s, I used to get drunk with the adam and the ants guitarist's kid.

I'm jealous :(

I once met Chris Tucker. My friends dad and Chris went to our school to pick him up. Later that day I went over and talked to him for a bit. I've also had an encounter with John Riccitello, CEO of EA Games, during work in Redwood Shores. There's a hint of irony when a CEO of a company as big as EA gives you respect.
