Most favored and hated cartoon characters.

I've been reading a lot of threads lately of people saying how cartoons these days are terrible. While this is the sad truth, I like to ease all our tensions and frustrations by discussing good things about cartoons. And so I ask my fellow escapist members, who is your most favored cartoon character and (if you wish to relieve some frustration) who is your most hated. Please also explain why.

jhonny bravo was a brilliant character, anything from looney toons, courage the cowardly dog.

I despise most characters of today, they are dull, retarded or both

Least favorite is Jar Jar from the Clone Wars. Now I haven't seen any episodes with him in it, but I'm only saying it just because people are sure too. (I didn't find himt that annoying in episode 1, though I was younger.)

Yea, hes pretty much useless. About as dumb as the battle droids .

Dave Dave the barbarian was like the only good thing on Disney and then they canceled it cause their fucktards.

I fucking hate Flap Jack, and Chowder more than any other cartoon character though.

I don't get the Battle Droids, there supposed to be an army of killers, yet from what I hear act like dolts. WTF?

The only episode I've saw fully was Greivous' Lair, which is tingling my interest in series.

That was a very good episode. I have to say, Greivous is my new favorite cartoon character.

i love: all from south park, family guy and the simpsons. courage the cowardly dog. Timmy from the fairy godparents. phineas & ferb. dave the Barbarian (he is so god damm awesome.)

Favorites: Batman from Batman: The Animated Series, Yakko, Wacko, and Dot, Bevis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy, the cast from Rocco's Modern Life, earlier Power Puff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a plethora of others.

Most Hated: 90s Fox cartoon versions of the Xmen and Spiderman, anything CG, the new Cartoon Network cartoons, any of the new Nick cartoons that are not Fairly Odd Parents or Spongebob, and others.

Do you mean like children cartoons or mature cartoons? Because there is a big difference.

Anyways when i was young the show person i liked the most was James from from Pokemon since he was a retard and about 50% of the jokes came from him, yes i know the show is retarded but that was over ten years ago so show me some mercy!

But today i watch mature cartoons mostly, and i would have to with Captain Hero from drawn together, he is a retarded Super Hero who only thinks about sex....nuff said.

The show person i hated the most as a kid were all of the cute bears from that show i can't remember very well. It evolved about cute bears in the sky's fighting some sort of a big black evil tornado with red glowing eyes and they would defeat him by shooing hearts of love at him or something (i swear to god i am not making this up).

The show person i hate the most now is probably ALL of the show persons that seem to populate most new or recent cartoon network cartoons these days.

Any cartoon counts. And to answer your other question, I believe your referring to Care Bears.

Oh yes, I remember watching the old Clone Wars cartoon, and when Grievous was first shown I knew he was my new favorite character of the prequels. I just loved the part in his Lair where in the duel with the padawan, he just shoots him! He's such a bastard I can't not love him!
