Grunts in halo 3 (in specific circumstances). okay so I'm playing halo 3 on heroic and the grenade skull and the bigger explosions skull and I see a brute and lot's of grunts. I jump out from behind a corner and throw a spike grenade on the brute and then jump back again to avoid the plasma grenades flying towards my head. I turn around the corner again so I can finish off the supposedly fleeing grunts and I see 8 grunts, each of them holding plasma grenades in their hands and running towards me. I do what any sane person would do and ran away but as soon as I turn around I see another one coming from behind......I died (big surprise) and turned off my 360 and stared at the screen for a while.

Snipers, The Giant hands from Zelda, those giant irritable caterpillars from Mario, Vagina face (that is my pet name for the zombie with the large vertical mouth on his head from Silent Hill Homecoming), and basically anything that jumps outta no where clinging to your face for dear life while trying to devour your brains.
Deathclaws. There's nothing more scary a big demonic beast running at you with unholy speed and having the ability to put you down in a few quick slashes(that pierce armor!).

Any boss monster from a mortal kombat game. Hate fighting a dude who can do the same amount of damage in 1 hit that you can do to him in 10. Especially when they don't let you get up. You know, the sort of steroid addict that was extensively bullied in school.

Tanks in Left 4 Dead. Despite that there are many enemies that kill you in horrible ways, and many more that are just damn tough to kill, Tanks are in a league all of their own.
Tanks have this tendency to do things the hard way. Even when you're ready for them, knowing exactly where they're hiding, with a Molotov ready, an escape route planned, and your entire team ready with assault rifles arranged in a neat group with perfect line of sight... Then a Smoker grabs you, the Tank rushes out, and by the time your teammates down the Smoker the Tank already hurled a car at you... And it just goes downhill from there.
