The ending of Oldboy was fucked up. I haven't see Requiem for a Dream but after reading that I may have to.alwaysrockon said:oldboy and Requim for a Dream. I'm truly amazed nobody has even mentioned Requiem. I read a review once that said:
"This movie is not for the faint of heart as the last 30 minutes will literly physically hurt to watch. You may think your strong but you do not know sadness until you have seen this movie" I didn't really beleive it but after I watched it...well...Damn.
That's part of the reason I dislike the ending so much; I felt it was just too far out there.TriggerUnhappy said:Very true (for both versions), but what's really interesting is to compare the beginning to the end, and figure out just how the fuck you got there. Seriously, you end up in a completely different place at the end, but you never really notice as things start to escalate. Just like the members of Project Mayhem, you fail to notice the subtle change from an underground boxing club on the weekends, to a full-on terrorist group. If you can't tell yet, I'm essentially saying: This^oxiclean said:fight club (the book). i had never seen the movie and had no idea what to expect when i started reading it.
Awww, ninja'd. Yeah, you're absolutely right though. There was just...SO much wrongness concentrated into that movie.Kpt._Rob said:I'm going to go with Hackel's Tale... Just because... well... every single fiber of that movie is fucked up. I am a Clive Barker fan, but... Hackel's Tale just went too far... like way too far... and it had no redeeming values. Let's just say it involved a zombie orgy and the "surprise" end involved a zombie baby. I just felt dirty after watching that movie... and I'm going to go so far as to suggest that no one watch it... ever.
