Pretty self explanatory I think ^^ describe the humourous or just awesome events that you've been a part of in a multiplayer online game eg Halo, COD

Myself...recently online in Halo 3, we played just energy swords and gravity hammers, no vehicles, no weapon spawns on the map, in Sandtrap, with team slayer.

One intrepid team realized that they could break the turrets of the elephant transport and gun down their pure-melee rivals while being holed up in the top tier of the elephant.

We took it upon ourselves, being slightly drunk, to take the OTHER elephant, then ram and board theirs, while singing the Pirates of the Caribbean theme XD

Epic heavy rush in Team Fortress 2. Nothing like the sight of being among 13 Heavies firing their miniguns simultaneously. I wonder what the defenders were thinking..

Huh. Closest I can think of was the only time I successfully got the flag in Ashenvale in WoW. The other players got treated to a non-PvPer elf tearing across the map in a blind panic, screaming every obscenity he could think of in both Common and Darnassian, while the chase turned into one of those "final touchdown run" scenes from any given football movie as every single person on the map zeroed in on me.

That, or the first time I picked up an Energy Sword in Halo 2 and spontaneously broke into the Lumberjack song (while my two friends joined in chorus).

A little creation of mine on Halo 2 called 15 minutes of war. Random weapons, no shields, no kill limit, 2 teams and 15 minutes on the clock. Awesome times.

Epic Huntsman rush today, like a scene from Lord of the Rings it was! Won the first stage of Egypt in 1:20seconds...

yay! reminds me slightly with the flags of when I single-handedly captured all the points in Frost Wolf Keep, in that battleground in WoW...they soon got recaptured of course, and I soon found myself fleeing from four undead rogues who chased me for ages on mounts...

On CoD4 once, playing Hardcore team deathmatch and these American guys were so funny. I'm pretty sure they were talking about peanut butter. But they were also fun to play with cause they were also talking tactics. I love it when your team and you work together. It makes the game to much better.

Coordinated Planetside raids. I'm a huge fps fan, and I really enjoy games that add a bit more of a tactical or even strategic element. Anyway, planetside is (was? I hope its still around) an MMOFPS way back when, truly revolutionary if you ask me. Anyway, it had hundreds of people fighting against each other in massive battles, and of course people organized into full blown groups, that could get as large as 30-40 people (been a while, so excuse my poor memory), and then those groups would all get together. You could have literally a hundred people all pouring out of dropships or launching WWII-esque tank battles. truly a sight to see, and I hope someone gets to making another one like it.

...Do you know who I am?
(not mine, but funny)

Mine:
I was playing a game of zombie mod in Counter Strike. We were in a map which included drivable boats (which didn't really handle well. kinda slide a bit). Me and the few surviving humans had jumped in a boat and I was driving them around the map, trying to avoid the zombies who had jumped in the other boat. I was evading as well as i could whil my allies were firing at the zombie boat. Eventually, I hit a corner which caused my boat to spin and I crashed the side of my boat into the side of the zombie's. As they begin to board, I grab my shotgun and begin shooting them off as they come. One of my passangers wasn't as capable and gets turned and the rest of us soon followed.

Halo PC:
I was playing capture the flag on the map "Death Island". The teams had been gringing up against each other for a good while and neither one of us was making much progress, so I decided to go up the side. I grabbed a warthog and drove it along the beach to avoid contact.

When I reached the base, I ran over the person guarding the flag, grabbed the flag, and hopped back in to speed back to score. Another enemy popped out of the base and began shooting at me and, to get away faster, I drove off of the cliff into a cluster of vehicles. Even though I tried spinning to not flip, I fell out and began running between vehicles to avoid fire. I jump into a ghost, but at the same time, my persuer grabs a scorpion tank. He opens fire, but misses and I finish him off by circle-strafing (at this point, my health is in the yellow).

I am nearly back to my base when an enemy begins firing at me from a cliff. I rush forward to capture the flag before I die, but I get caught on my ghost and get killed by a granade which knocks the flag into a corner. He rushes into the base and grabs our flag and runs off while my ally chases. I respawn and kill him with my pistol and go to return our flag while my ally goes for their's. When I get back, I find that the flag is secure, but it has fallen into the hands of someone who is AFK...and friendly fire is turned off. Me and this other guy ended up having to grenade him into the flag pole in order to score!

And that is the story of how a person, who wasn't even playing, stole my point.

CoD4:
I had a game where I went 100 and 20 in shipment with a shotgun without camping in a corner.

Today in Halo 3, played a match of me and a random guy against an entire team of 7 people.
Bonding ensued.

sadly, griefing profanity-spewing 13-year-olds really takes the cake for me, i don't think any online experience has beaten that.

They don't even really understand the words they are using, but they let the slurs fly with such passion

Left 4 Dead for 360. Dead Air (I think) campaign, Expert difficulty with three friends. We're in the factory in part 3, maybe part 4, it's been a while. Anyway. Factory. We're heading to the door, clearing out the zombies, when all the sudden, the tank music starts. We do a fighting retreat as the tank charges us, when suddenly my screen is covered in flames.

One of my friends had taken a molotov cocktail out, thrown it at the tank, missed and hit the guy with me in the head, since we worked in squads of two, essentially killing us both.

This was made especially funny by the fact that this same person had, earlier in the night, burnt a pot of macaroni & cheese while cooking it and couldn't get the burnt noodles out. So he took the pot outside, put gasoline in it and set it on fire.

Oh man, I remember playing Planetside.

That game was like being dropped right in the middle of the world's most epic sci-fi movie.
