If you count expansions: Heroes of Might and Magic. Got III and V complete
Otherwise.. Dunno... Don't really got that many games with sequels or released sequels.

And every Command and Conquer game until now. Not going to get the newest one though, since my PC fails ;(
You mean the newest one fails.

Also, I think it's a sad comment on the gaming industry that many people have nine, ten or even more games from one series. The only movies that have that many in a series are things like Friday the 13th.

For me, probably command and conquer. I have the first one on PSone, Red Alert on PSone, Tib Sun on PC, RA2 on PC, Renegade on PC, Generals on PC, and the First Decade pack (Because it was cheaper than buying RA1 on it's own, which I wanted to play as I had long since gotten rid of my PSone)

Well, if one allows a liberal use of what games belong in a series (ie: Seiken Densetsu being released as Final Fantasy Adventure in the States), and one also allows the counting of remakes and different platforms (ie: the GBA rereleases of Final Fantasy games and the DS remakes), here are a few of the series totals I've accumulated

Final Fantasy: 26
Shin Megami Tensei: 11
Dragon Quest/Warrior: 10
Star Wars (A nebulous series, to be sure): 10
Romance of the Three Kingdoms: 8
Suikoden: 8

I may need professional help at this point.

I have three series in which I have 4 of the games:

I have Resident Evil 1 through 4
I have Guitar Hero 2, 3, World Tour, and Metallica (deeply regrets that purchase)
And I have Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, San Andreas, and 4

But the most I have is the Metal Gear Series, with a total of 6 - I have Metal Gear, Metal Gear: Solid Snake, and Metal Gear Solid 1-4

All the Halo's (except Wars, refuse to play any Halo game made by anyone other than Bungie).
Splinter Cell, PT, CT, DA (Old gen and New gen) soon to be Conviction and also soon to be Halo: Reach.

Are they planning on ending the Final Fantasy series or will that just keep on going like the Never Ending story or something?

Dynasty Warriors 1, Dynasty Warriors 2, Dynasty Warriors 3, Dynasty Warriors 3XL, Dynasty Warriors 4, Dynasty Warriors 4XL, Dynasty Warriors 5, Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, Dynasty Warriors 6, Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, Samurai Warriors, Samurai Warriors 2, Samurai Warriors 2XL, Samurai Warriors 2 Empires, Warriors Orochi, Warriors Orochi 2.

I will inevitably buy Strikeforce at some point. I single handedly perpetuate the Dynasty Warriors series. @_@

I had Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory and Double Agent.

I then sold Chaos Theory (I don't even know why, I f*cking love that game) and have lost the disc to Double Agent.

It makes me sad; if it had happened to Pandora Tomorrow I don't think I'd of particularly minded (the worst in the series, yet still a very good game - which says a lot for the others).

Neverwinter Nights.
Got Neverwinter Nights, Shadows Of Undrentide expansion, Hordes Of The Underdark expansion, Neverwinter Nights 2, Mask Of The Betrayer expansion and Storm Of Zehir expansion.

Coming in as runner up is Total War, with Shogun (although it technically is misplaced right now), Medieval (also misplaced), Rome, Medieval II + Kingdoms expansion, Empire and Napoleon.

All five Halo games. Also have all four Crash Bandicoot games (you know, all the ones that COUNT), but it's one short of my five Halo games.

Neverwinter Nights, most likely.

Neverwinter Nights, Shadow of Undertide, Hordes of the Underdark, Neverwinter Nights 2.

Or Diablo 2:

Diablo 2, Diablo 2, Lord of Destruction, Lord of Destruction. Yeah, I have two sets.

...Or Heroes of Might and Magic.

HoMM 1, HoMM 2, HoMM 3 complete (basic + all expansions), HoMM 4 basic.

Also GTA 2, GTA London, GTA III, GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City.

Oh, and all Larry Laffer games till Larry 7.

Not decent enough to buy a $50 patch every year...
