The sodding road runner.

meep bloody meep.

Allthough the coyote should have learnt by now that Acme products are Shite.
And that the roadrunner has extremely well adapted senses for detecting giant boulders attached to giant elastic bands.

Johnny Bravo after he got hit with the retarded stick. In the first few eps he actually seemed just narcissistic, but at one point he got plain retarded? Why do they do that to characters?

Also, as already mentioned Mandy and Scrappy Doo
Yeah, you're right about Johnny Bravo (and Scrappy Doo). it was fun in the beginning when you could find hidden euphemisms in these kind of cartoons that kids didn't understand. Fun as hell.

I like Spongebob Squarepants. It's a funny show...

I was gonna be all cool and original, but then you guys reminded me about Scrappy Doo, and I realised that there are some dogs that just need to be put down...

Lois Griffin. Mainly because I can remember when she was actually likeable, and that memory serves to piss me off more when I happen to watch an episode now.

Aw, what the hell, all Family Guy characters have either become horrible, or always were.

Most annoying? The Rugrats, hands down.

Those baby versions of looney toons.

I would like to kill them. With fire.

How about Link from the Legend of Zelda cartoon?

"Excuuuuse me, princess!" Way to turn an epic character into a whiny, annoying brat.
Link never had much of a character to begin with...

There's tons of these, but if I had to choose just one... It's Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon anime. Ten bloody years with the same unchanging one-dimensional character makes a series REALLY dreadful. It can work for other characters if they change gradually (as Luffy from Onepiece maturing somewhat and developing good leadership skills) but nooooooooo, they have to market/sellout Pika-fucking-chu's owner instead of, say, introducing a new protagonist that's not as pancake-plain as they almost have with the Legend of Thunder (used the second generation main characters).

... and there's Spongebob.
