first off, development time and budget constraints. they have killed so many possibly good games. especially dragon age 2 which was murder by lack of time to build proper levels for everything and enough dialogue.
and actual enemy though is the El Gigante from resident evil 5. your stuck in a crappy car with crappy guns and he gets to trundle around taking more ammo to the face than has been used in any three wars.
but most of all, other player characters who use sniper rifles and nothing else. if you have ever played an fps on a large map where one team is always around certain areas, there will be snipers there to ruin your day. no fun in getting popped in the head for the 5th time by the same dammed sniper.
