Epic win. Although somewhat laborious, it sums up one of the worst problems affecting language today.

That and apostrophe misuse - I cannot stand it.

I'm astonished that this thread has gone three pages without the most common one I see online, and that's "loose" for every damn thing. "I need to loose weight!" "I'm afraid I'll loose him!" ARGH, make it stop! I see this so often that if I actually see someone type "lose", I wonder if it's wrong.
Finally someone else who gets driven crazy by this! I'm not a grammar whore, I can forgive all other errors and misspellings as I'm not perfect myself. But it makes me such a terribly sad panda seeing loose misused so wrong, its so bad that I've now seen people start to use lose when they mean loose.

I don't like it when people use 'like' as a replacement for 'I said'

I was like "thats far out man"
I said "thats far out man"
Don't you mean "that's"?

I hate it when people write something so grammatically bad it seems that they speak another language and put no effort into trying make it at least semi decent. Also so calld leet speak and the like.

I'm a total grammar ninja (I hate the term Nazi XP).
Nazi XP?

Is that a new version of Windows?

Back on topic, I hate most of the spelling & grammatical errors I see. Mostly because as Firefox has a built in spelling checker which highlights any potential mistakes they make.

Do these people just ignore the scores of red which plague their posts?

I understand that not everyone uses Firefox & some people are colour blind, but still, there must be quite a few people who are aware of all their mistakes but ignore them... maybe they knowingly make those mistakes so they appear as stupid as the their accompanying post.

I mean when you read a completely stupid post or statement without mistakes you think the writer is intelligent enough but arrogant in their stupidity, but if it's also plagued with mistakes you're lulled into thinking they're actually mentally deficient and/or very young so are less likely to argue or flame them.

Like Mr. T says you "Pity the Fool".
I meant sticking your tongue out, but that led to a good joke didn't it?

I don't have the spell check thing on my forum posts and I'm guessing they don't either. I can feel really bad if I get pissed at someone who wasn't using any grammar or punctuation, but it turned out they were just typing a lot or spoke a different language.

Such is the life of a Grammar Ninja...
