Humane execution- a paradox if there ever was one.
Most painless would be cyanide gas. kills in milliseconds.
guillotine would be bad because a human is still alive and conscious for up to 13 seconds after decapitation, a bullet to the head sucks b/c you might miss a vital spot (Look up Phineas Gage)

Saying 'humane execution' is an oxymoron. But if I had to choose, I'd go with good ol' death by snu snu.
It actually shouldn't hurt much if at all. Because your head is completely separated from your body that means that there is no way for it to recognize that you are in pain. So even if you live for a few seconds, you shouldn't feel anything. I could be wrong though.Pimppeter2 said:
For most humane though, I would say euthanasia would work best. You fall asleep and die, no pain at all, and no mess to clean up.
I think firing squad is the best way. You don't have to pay for random chemicals and if you hit the right spot you die instantly (heart or brain).
There are arguments that it is actually quite painful if you overdose on whatever they give you. Remember: they don't die if you don't give them enough.MONSTERheart said:

I make a thread about execution in a novel and I see threads about execution all day....hrmph. Ok I say, for humane, lethal injection. For inhumane, hang the bastard and whip him.
