Most humiliating thing you've ever done in an Online FPS?

For me this has to go to when I get nervous in Halo 3 and do something really stupid like advance when I shouldn't or getting killed by my own grenade (the latter is rare by the way) but enough about me... what is the most humiliating thing YOU'VE ever done in an FPS?

Note: this post would have been longer but the amount of text I typed before got wiped out... and I'll be damned if I was going to write that again.)

ALso in Counter Strike if you flash yourself (flashbang grenade) and then get killed =(

During one L4D game i killed 2 of my teammates with one shotgun hit to the head and then a hunter killed me because i almost fell off the chair laughing.

I hate to admit this, but I once killed my entire team. In CoD4, I had just killed basically the entire other team and I went to airstrike them just as they respawned. However, my team was rapidly advancing and by the time the strike arrived the other them had left and my team had run in. I don't use a mic, so I couldn't warn them and they weren't there at launch, so they weren't warned by the system. Everyone died, everyone.

Haha, I know what you mean. I didn't really ruin the microphone but I got deadified.

The problem is, that only happens in games that boast "realism" whereas anyone with a brain knows it'll only explode once you've pulled the pin and let go of the the "handle".

mine wasnt accident but found it hella funny!!

in cod5 we was on hardcore search n destory and my team were a bunch of noobs (lvl 1 - 8) all of them!!! so i thought i would be funny cos i knew we wouldnt win to put on my class with rifle grenades and as they all ran down the stairwell on castle (american side) i fired at the lot of them, team kill the lot of them hahaha twas a funny day alot of abuse down the mic!! xD

the most embarrasing accedent...probably on halo 3 when i threw all of my grenades (even the plasma ones) and ran into it...damn...so much abuse through the mic lol

There are so many sadly. But the worst for me is playing CoD4 and missing the obvious guy guarding the bomb in Search and Destroy and losing the round.

Worse: getting killed by a flash or a smoke grenade, especially your own flash or smoke (if you make it rebounce). Never happened to me but I saw it happen, I nearly cried laughing.

I went to a friend's house, and he invited me to play Splinter Cell online. I barely got through the words "so how do I-" when I blew myself up with a grenade.

I'm not the greatest at FPSs so there's been a few times where I've totally misjudged the trajectory of where I'm throwing the grenade, only to have it bounce back and explode in my face. I don't use the mic and mute everyone else though so I only have to put up with my boyfriend taking the piss out of me

Well... I was playing TF2, as a medic and I proceeded to heal a guy... who turned out to be a spy, who completely wiped the whole team.

It was one of those days...

falling to your death, team killing by accident, and being killed in CSS with a flashbang (it does 1 damage to get hit by, and a friend of mine is really good at CSS.


most embarresing? falling off a ledge into the abyss in quake 3.
