For some reason, I'm having a really hard time getting "Flawless Freeflow Fighter" in Batman: Arkham Asylum. You have to complete a combat challenge map without taking damage. It doesn't sound all that tough, but since I'm also in need of "Freeflow Combo 40", I have a bad habit of trying to finish combat challenge maps with one giant combo.

Inevitably, I mess up and lose my shot at both achievements. Frustrating.

I finally got 1000 points for Batman today. Woohoo!

Anyways, I recommend Intensive Treatment for the "Flawless Freeflow Fighter" and Intensive Treatment (Extreme) for the "Freeflow Combo 40". Just focus on one achievement per challenge so you don't kill yourself over frustration.

The most infuriating achievement for me would probably be the flags in AC. Although it was tedious, I had some fun exploring the cities and finding the flags.

And the Orb Collections Achievements in Crackdown, which I bet will be there again in Crackdown 2.

The orb ones weren't bad if you just got them when you saw them while playing , but if you were just going to get everyone of them starting at 0 it would suck.

It would probably have to be "Keep Off the Sand" for Half Life 2. I spent almost two hours on that stupid level, making sure that I had plenty of crap to make a bridge everywhere, and when I finally finish the level it doesn't give me the achivement. I starting flipping.

Personally Id go for the achievment in Dead Rising where you have to survive for 24 real time hours or some shit, no thanks.

Just on a personal level, the "Absolute Power is Kinda Neat" Achievement in Civilization: Revolution, just because I was playing as the Aztecs, and I got 4 Achievements for winning but not that one, even though I didn't change government styles.

All it takes is one person making one dumb mistake to ruin your chances of getting it for a week, and you have to depend on 24 other people playing perfectly in order to get it. I must have cussed out at least 5 people over this one.

ANY Achievement that is worth 0G. Thanks developer, I'd like to use bragging rights with NO weight to them.

G's mean nothing. You can get the same number from 3 minutes of Avatar as you can from Gears of War in 6 months.


I'd have to go with either Nothing Special (Left 4 Dead), Vidmaster: Annual (Halo 3), Seriously (Gears of War), or something like that.

Yeah, I think I can get maybe 4% into that song and then fail. If I do practice mode I can actually hit a fair amount of the song past the intro, just not that first bit.

Ok I got a few. First two, "Complete Blazblue arcade mode on hardest difficulty." This is nigh impossible, as the last two characters get so many advantages over you it's not even chuckle worthy. To top that off, if you even manage to get that one "Beat score attack on hardest difficulty." I don't even know anyone that beat score attack on normal yet, let alone hell difficulty.

Then theres thoes damn rumble roses ones that aren't even available to do.
