Most Infuriating And Difficult Achievement/Trophy/Level in a game?

any online achievement sucks. i don't think i have any... they're really annoying because i don't see the point in paying just to play online. so i think they're very crap. not hard... just crap.

Beating COD:WAW in veteran mode.

This wouldn't be so bad if it were for those damned fuse-less grenades.

its got to be marathon for Trials HD. completed the Ultimate Endurance tournament without any faults. it's solid. only 1 person has done it out of 300,000 who have bought the game.

This was my pick as well.

I would have gone for the GRAW achievements for reaching the top of the world leaderboards but they're not so much difficult as they are virtually fucking impossible.

The TF2 achievement "Got a Light?" in which you have to ignite a spy while he's doing his cigarette taunt.
This means you have to come across a pretentious enemy spy stupid enough to be taunting in plain view, and since the cigarette taunt isn't even tied to a weapon (This is the disguise kit taunt) it means the spy in question will essentially be out in the open, without a weapon equipped, and performing an action that renders him immobile and unable to fight back for several seconds. Not to mention you'd have to be impossibly lucky to actually run into the guy during his three seconds of taunting.
It's an achievement that relies entirely on the complete boneheaded incompetence of another player, as well as insanely lucky timing. Yeah, sure, it's funny I suppose, but it's a horribly designed achievement.

Oh dear god this! I only have 3 pyro achievements I still need, this pyromancer (1 mill fire damage) and Pyrotechnics, which is a hard one because most of the time if I get an uber I'll take down the enemys sentries and a a pyro people tend to run away from you so it's hard to catch three of them in 10 seconds.

There's a collection achievement in Fable II that's made even worse by the fact that you can't collect every item BY YOURSELF! It's a doll collection, and you have to trade dolls with other online players to collect other dolls! There are 6 of these fucking things.

Seriously 1.0 I could see how one could get it, as by the time I stopped playing multiplayer I had about 7000 / 10000 kills needed. Seriously 2.0 on the other hand, is ridiculous. I've played Gears 2 just about as long as I played Gears 1 and I'm up to about 18,5000 / 100,000. Not even close.

I like a lot of the collecting ones, but most of them I resort to using a guide to get them all.

Seriously, I dare you to find 25 perfect players to do 15 bosses in a row without dying.

It's quite easy actually. Every boss is extremely easy in Naxxramas with the gear you get from Ulduar and Trial of the Grand Crusader. Only boss that might pose a problem is Thaddius(You really need to have perfect coordination to do that one).

I have no doubt about that, but trying to do it when it actually mattered was a completely different story. Now it's not even an afterthought when heroic Anub'arak 25 is falling below 30% health.

I know a lot of people are probably going to (dis)agree with this one, but last night I finally got the Mile High Club achievement for finishing the epilogue level on Veteran (Modern Warfare). That has got to be one of the hardest achievements ever.

I think I spent a total of three hours, replaying that level, trying all kinds of tactics until I finally nailed it!

Pretty much the entirety of the game Silent Hill Homecoming. Apparently the developers wanted individual battles to mean something, so they ratcheted up the difficulty and cut the amount of ammo and health in the world that they had originally intended to put in in half.

The Star Destroyer level in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. 360 version. ENOUGH SAID.

The Cortana level in Halo 3. Also ENOUGH SAID.

And then there's the Dead Space asteroid minigame...

Hardest achievement ever? Destroy 1,000,000 soft blocks in Bomberman: Act Zero. Not only did you have to really grind to get that one, but the game is so horrible that nobody WANTS to grind for it.
