Can be from any genre.. metal, IDM, Gabba, industrial whatever

If anyone can show me a song that is sonically and thematically heavier and more intense than this little Strapping Young Lad number they'll get me smiling :)

Meshuggah- EVery time I hear this band I'm more impressed. Must get thier stuff, this is off the new album right?

Behemoth- Reminds me of Napalm Death, good old fashioned death metal.

Dark Fortress- REALLY liked this. Ever listen to Samael? Kinda similar you might like thier early stuff!

Melecesh- I'm starting to think you have very good taste... this was like somewhere between Nile and Dimmu Borgir, loved it.

Nefret- A strange one, bizarrely catchy at points!

I feel like I should link you a couple now, hmm let's see you prob know these already but here ya go anyway...

Pig Destroyer (this song will make your ears bleed in a good way)

Those are all awesome.

Yeah that was Meshuggah's newest album. It's got a few good songs, but it's not exactly my favorite.
Their earlier stuff was more thrash oriented, while their newer stuff focuses more on the jazzy elements. As one reviewer put it:
The albums "Nothing, Catch Thirty Three, and obZen" are really... spacey; excellent for trips.

Anyway, here's sone british grindcore!
Can't Fit Her Limbs In The Fridge - Gorerotted
I really like this band. It's an excellent mix of humor and grindcore.

I liked the music, but the screaming really put me off. I'm fine with screaming here and there but that is too much imo.

SYL is one of the best metal bands ever. Oh My Fucking God by them is their best in my opinion.

This is ever heavier though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQBv1smlQEU

Different strokes then... there's no such thing as too much screaming in my opinion!

Especially in this song because the wonderful melodic singing girl choir balances it and is even more insane than the screaming in parts. Lol.

By the way Devin Townsend is one of the few true musical geniuses in the world.

A friend once gave me some black/speed metal to listen to, my ear drums were not ready for that, heavy isn't quite um, heavy enough to describe it.
