What has been the most intelligent and deep game you've ever played, you know one of those games that starts to really explore the medium, giving challenging ideas.

For me personally its a flip up between Bioshock and Planescape: Torment. So what're yours?

System Shock 2

It's like a bigger, smarter and harder version of Bioshock (or Bioshock is it's dumb runty but better looking little brother, can't decide).

Or adventure games in general, anything based around exploration and puzzle solving just seems to be smarter.

Metal Gear Acid.

Turn Based Strategy games take know-how and precise planning... With a hint of luck.

Bioshock, in snobby psuedo-intellectual way, but Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts can be very clever if you use your imagination.

That's a difficult question... I've played plenty of games that were fun but those that I found thought provoking and stimulating of intellect?

System Shock 2 had a lot of depth, as did the original Deus Ex. I'm sure the original System Shock would have had a lot of depth too if only I could make it work on Vista.

Bioshock was good but it seemed like a retread of System Shock 2 with bits missing.

Intelligent Qube. How can you not pick a game with Intelligent right in the name?

But really, if I had to go with something it'd probably be either Tetris or Riven.
