I somehow doubt that.

Still thinking of mine, but Piggsy from Manhunt and Seril Killer X from Condemned come to mind.

Me and my friends were playing UFC undisputed and it got to the point where it was me and my friend Daniel, he was very good at striking while the match was pretty much over if I got him on the ground and pummeled his face in. Anyway we were both practically screaming at each other, squirting hot jet's of man foam until we both came in at the same time and knocked each other out. It was an odd moment because for the first 10 matches it was like D-day, punches and kicks galore. but it was suddenly ended by well times strikes and we both looked at each other because we both had that strange feeling, like the calm after a horrific battle. Similar to that feeling you get after watching Saving Private Ryan.

When I'm bored, sometimes I play Left 4 Dead without bots or other players. When I see "Smoker Alert" or anything like that, I get so paranoid and nervous. It's such a huge change of pace when one mistake can now cost you your life.

Killing my first Big Daddy was a very intense experience... Especially since I had to waste all my first-aid kits.

Tome of Eternal Darkness.

I was playing it late one night with not a lot of lights on and slightly drunk.

The game started talking to me (My name is the same as one of the characters)

Battleing Big daddies on hard difficulty, in the early stage where you have no really good guns, are a nightmare.

Then there's also CoD 2 and CoD 4 on Veteran. (CoD 1 on Veteran are just a big experience of spamming quick save.)

Playing as the space marine in AvP with the lights out, and just the radar pipping away.

a close second was my first time through MoH with the normandy invasion...

Well obviously Killzone 2, my god the way you described it almost made me jump out of my seat..../sarcasm

Probably my first go around at Medal of Honour, Normandy Beach with surround sound.
Exactly. Which leads me to believe those who are saying KZ2 must not have played Medal of Honour: Allied Assault/Frontline.

Actually, screw that. Fahrenheit: The Indigo Prophecy. All of it. I won't show a scene in particular, because if you've played it, you should know. And if you haven't played it (and I know a lot of you haven't), then you're dead to me. And I don't talk to corpses.

Strangely, I thought the Stroggification on Quake 4 was a bit intense. But the most intense gaming experience ever surely has to be Rocket Test Labs on Half Life.

Trying to sneak past those three arm things has to be the most bum-clenchingly intense part of the game.

Any time I have low health and a lot of people trying to kill me is pretty intense. I have a million Fallout 3 and Darkwatch on hardest difficulty stories.

haha sorry.. i meant modern warfare 1 XP
ghost recon advanced warfighter 1... not really a very good game in my opinion but the mission where the embassy explodes and you have to hold out for extraction was another intense gaming moment that comes to mind
