Most likable/unlikable protagonists?

Any character who doesn't speak or speaks with a limited vocabulary (I just find these characters boring)

Wow, I need to start paying attention to characters more in games.
If you look at it, Wander is a massive icehole, he steals a holy relic from his village, travels to a forbidden land, kills all the demi-god creations that were already few in numbers. All just to resurrect a girl were not sure how long he has known, becuase she was executed by her people becuase they thought she was a witch.
Along with Cryptosporidium, he kills people to grab there brain stems, Its noble for his people but for us hes a evil villain killing us by the masses.

Unlikeable: Sean Devlin from The Saboteur. I am actually really liking this game, it interesting in that you are essentially playing a terrorist. That said, Devlin is a prat.
Likeable: April Ryan, Jade, and Cate Archer. Coincidentally the three best female characters in gaming.
Note: These are just from the games I have played. Most male characters in games are such complete dickheads, I'm sure there are many more to add to the unlikeable list. I'm avoiding RPG's because those characters are designed by me in most cases. I'm also not adding non-protagonist characters, even though I'm pretty fond of Pey'j, and am more fond of the supporting cast of Psychonauts than Raz.

Favourites definitely include Niko Bellic (GTA4), Ezio Auditore(ACII) and John Marston(RDR). Least favourites are probably Marcus Fenix(GOW) and Frank West(DR).
