Most memorable soundtrack from a game?

Silent Hill and Final Fantasy X. Both memorable because I played them when I was quite young. hence, I'm a bit messed.

Gonna second this. In fact, I'd go onto say any of Frank Klepaki's work in C&C games. When Westwood made the games, they ALWAYS had awesome soundtracks.
I still remember most of the songs from C&C 1!

Mass Effect and Modern Warfare 2 both had great soundtracks that the other entry in their respective series lacked. Valve, obviously, but the Left 4 Deads are probably my favorite, as well as the sparse use of music in HL2. Portal doesn't count.

First memorable? Pokemon, Threads of Fate, Megaman Legends, Brave Fencer Musashi, Kirby and Mario on the Nintendo 64, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Tales of Symphonia...

More recently: Persona 4, The World Ends With You, Bayonetta (I like it. Shush.), Blazblue, the Katamari series, Disgaea 2, Kingdom Hearts 2... an exeedingly Japanese list of games xD

Well, there is a difference between best, and most memorable (because I wouldn't say ESPN or Mario are the best, but they are certainly memorable).

Though they were goofy as hell, no songs have stuck with me better than the ones on the Banjo Kazooie soundtrack. The original (and Tooie), none of this Nuts n' Bolts crap. To this day I found myself humming odd tunes that I had forgotten where from, only to remember them upon downloading the sountrack last week.
