In your opinion what is the most memorable soundtrack you ever heard in a game? For me it would be either Final Fantasy IX, Shadow of the Colossus, or Ace Combat Zero.

EDIT: I put in examples.

Well, there are a lot of games with better soundtracks, but ...
Street Fighter 2: World Warrior was the most memorable.
Mainly 'cos there was no way anyone could not remember the Ken theme after being challenged over 9000+ times with the same character in the space of a week.
(oh yes, I'm still pissed after almost 2 decades)

I'd also go with FFIX (my all-time favourite game)
As well as that, Kingdom Hearts (because of Simple & Clean) and MGS3 (because of the Snake Eater theme)

FFVII (seriously, how could anyone forget "One-Winged Angel"?) or any Fallout game (though more 3 and NV, since the first 2 just had intro theme music and then a bunch of atmospheric music).

Probably Fallout 3. It's music i'd never listen to, yet i still remember the lyrics to each and every song.
Killing Floor's another contender. I hate heavy metal and most types of rock music, but Killing Floor's sound track is just amazing.
"SoundtracK For the apocolypse" is where most of the songs are from.

The Myst series. If I had to choose one, I'd say Myst IV.

Also, Little King's Story.

The Blazblue series, in my opinion, has one of the greatest original soundtracks of all time.

Every single song is extremely badass and extremely addicting.

Hitman: Blood Money

The version of Ave Maria at the main menu in particular.

Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption are up there, but the music of the Halo games consistently blows me away.

As for a licensed soundtrack... though Burnout 3 is close, that of Jet Set Radio Future was phenomenal.

Typical Answer: Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars. Hell, ANY Mario RPG.

Personal Pick: Bomberman: The Second Attack. Seriously, the soundtrack for this game is AWEOME!

Baldur's Gate series.

Specifically Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

Glorious music is to be had there.

This:

I like how the melody has been used in the main themes for Oblivion and now Skyrim, in slightly different forms.
Morrowind had a slow, kind of magical sound. Oblivion was more imposing, and made you think of khights in shining armour. Lastly Skyrim, that has a more rugged sound, kind of barbarian; which fits perfectly with the suroundings.

Ace Combat 6 or Ace Combat 5. Amazing sound tracks, both of them.

Respectively, these two. Love The Journey Home, because of the sad mission in Ace Combat 5.

EDIT:
This is The Journey Home without words, if you wanted just the music itself, rather than the singer. Just putting this here...
