I am Jack said:
When they finally kill John Coffey I just lose it.
I know, I find it difficult to keep from breaking down everytime I see it.

End of the Shawshank Redemption. Every time.

On a much geekier note, right at the end of The Fellowship of the Ring, where Aragorn takes on the 50-odd Uruk-Hai to let Frodo escape. The bit in slow mo, where he just calmly cleaves into the ranks always somehow makes the hairs on my neck stand up. Proper heroic stuff.
Wasn't that Boromir not Aragorn?

I never thought the end, but more so when
Brooks kills himself
. Also, most of Ladder 49. That was an amazing movie.
Beaten to it. All I have to say is three words... "Brooks was here."

Yeah I love the series and plus anything that has a powerhouse team of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks should definitely be good

Heh I loved all of Shawshank Redemption
But most moving part is when the The End flashs at the end of a really terrible old movie

I would have to say the most I've ever cried in a movie was The Passion of the Christ.
I know Jesus was a cool dude and all, but I gotta be honest, I saw it coming. I read the book.

(sorry if I spoiled it for anyone)

Ian Curtis' implied suicide at the end of Control gets me every time, as well as the bit where he has a seizure whilst on stage.

Children of the 80s all know where this comes from:

"Do not grieve...soon I shall be one with the Matrix."

Never before, and never since has scene in a cartoon ever made me cry like that.

End of the futurama when Fry is going to bring his dog back to life. Depressing (although they changed it a little in the movie).

No, the bit after Frodo runs away from Boromir, Aragorn does his whole 'I would have followed you into the very fires of Mordor' thing. Then he sees Sting glowing, tells Frodo to run, and takes on about 20 Uruks on his own. A classy hero.

Yeah, also that part, it's just that the whole film is so dark and harrowing, that the big happy ending is just a massive release.

I'll just say the end of District 9 was pretty much an emotional powerhouse.
As was the ending of Coraline
And Wall-e

Yes i did use the search bar before posting and couldn't find anything. The topic is simple, what is the most moving part of a movie you have ever seen?

For me it is a part in the intro for Watchmen where a line of soldiers are aiming their rifles at a crowd of people and one young woman walks forward and places a daffodil into the barrel of a rifle, then the soldiers open fire at the crowd. I thought this was extremely powerful and made me think of the anti-war and pro-peace message it throws at you.
That whole intro was incredibly moving, just the way that things were changing for everyone and how not even superheroes were immune to it. But I think you got it just right - that bit with the flower was probably the most powerful bit.

Plus that song always moves me.

Jenny´s death in Forrest Gump
i still cry when i see it. that movie truly makes Tom Hanks worthy of Hollywood, unlike everyone else but Chuck Norris and Mr. T
