Still like this song, it's one of the first clips I can remember seeing when I was a kid.

The other day, I suddenly had this very vague recollection of an old NES game I used play when I was just a wee lad. I couldn´t remember any specifics and its name eluded me, to the point of frustration. So I did some wild google guessing, and lo, there it was, the childhood I thought lost.
Now this takes me back nearly twenty years.

These three games have a lot of memory-filled music.

This music represents my first moments in PC gaming.

The first track is just epic. The second gets a notable mention for the synth harpsichord sections. There's not a single track in this game I don't like.

The intro music to Chrono Trigger.
This. That clock back and forth, then the piano kicking in eventually...

So awesome!
Hard to believe its been 15 years already...almost 16.
That game sucked me in more than once (hell I still whip out my DS remake now and again).

Just to one-up you guys. MIDI is magical. :)P)

TBH, I played Daggerfall after Morrowind, but Myst was my first game and it is amazing. Shut up! I hear you all snickering! It is SO MUCH MORE than an interactive slide show.

OH! OH! PS: Cyan is on Steam now. Riven is $5. I probably shouldn't be advertising it with all the technical difficulties people seem to be having (and I'm sure everyone would argue that it hasn't aged well), but it really is one of my top games, so I hope someone reading this gives it a shot.
