Ever go through your old music, be it on your i-pad, or maybe a youtube list of your favorite music, or heck old CD's and if you are really old school, records. What is that one song you remember that just screams nostalgic, everytime you hear you it you just think back to your younger times, be it childhood, teenage years or even young adult.

For me it has to be the Vengaboy's We like to party http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Zbi0XmGtMw

Oh man I remember the first time I heard that song, I was 12 years old, it was that commerical for 6Flags with the dancing old guy....shame I have never been to 6flags, but hey thats ok because this song keeps reminding me of my great 90's childhood (SUCK IT MOVIE BOB 90's rocked and no I will not drop that one)

So guys, what old music brings you nostalgia, lets see if we can remember some of the classics, even ones long forgotten from our main memories

Edit:

Second Place pick would be Dr. Looney's Remedy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRR4OiLxDIg

For some reason whenever I hear Bach's "Air on the G-String" it brings a tear to both my eyes and memories.
Weird, I probably listened to it many time as a child.

Still, to this day it calms my emotions and soothes my head.
Its a damn good song, even to this day.

It's for sure a tie between these two:

I would stay up late all summer before my freshman year to watch these two music videos (because it was the only time MTV played music). Both of these albums were a pretty biiiig part of 14 year old me. I still know that Hawthorne Heights album like the back of my hand, I don't know if that's something to be proud of...

Yeah, I still have loads of nostalgic songs on my iTunes, back from when I was first getting into metal and punk. I think maybe Tears Don't Fall is the most nostalgic out of them for me just because Bullet were kind of the first major metal band I was ever into (oh how times change), but it's mostly way too close to put any of these above the others. It's essentially just my childhood playlist for when we were hanging around the school yards in about Year 8.

One nostalgia trip coming up.
Not some bullshit song I heard a lot as a kid, so I think it's nostalgic. It IS, in ITSELF, nostalgic.

Being the son of a Jazz player has its benefits. The house always had awesome Jazz being played in it whether it was a record or my Dad. This one has just stuck with me all my life.

My most nostalgic song is a song about nostalgia.

Karen Carpenter had the best voice. She's still my number one vocalist.

Everything from Hollywood Undead's first album is nothing but pure nostalgia from my middle school years. Same for Avenged Sevenfold

For Highschool I got every Bullet for my Valentine song, which I knew word for word.

Reminds me of when I was small my dad and I were best friends, we'd spend our summers fishing, riding, gaming and building together.
These are probably some of my most cherished memories.
Now I rarely see him as he moved over seas and pretty much got a new life.

But this song makes me happy in remembering those times.

Fist time I heard this song, I was 5 and living on a tropical island

My childhood was wrapped around this movie and it (theatrical version only) music can make me drift from any conversation.

This one for me. Having not heard it for, like, 10 or more years really hits in the nostalgia with a critical:

These songs always makes me feel nostalgic:

They always reminds me of my university days, especially in the summer after exams and myself and my friends would just hang out and play videogames, talk, watch Giantbomb's endurance run of Persona 4, and just have a good time. I am still in touch with those friends and these songs never fail to put a smile on my face.

Bastion's soundtrack isn't old by any means, but god damnit does it make me miss the 60 or so days that it's been since I last played the game. Works to show how nostalgia can come from quality as well as age, I just get all melancholy and mopey-eyed whenever I listen to Zia's theme
