Most obnoxious enemies in video games.

Everyone has some, and i got the idea to write this article when i was playing Fallout 3 today, so here are some of mine, what are yours?

#1 Enclave Soldiers (Fallout 3) Extremely annoying because they stayed in packs and carried laser guns which broke my armor like a hammer to the groin.

#2 Gas Zombies (Dead Rising 2) Again traveled in packs but these Mother******* would jump and make you do a quick time event in a quarter of a second, and if you failed, you died.

3) Everyone (Far Cry 2) As mentioned in ZP grass in this game does nothing to conceal from the enemies telescopic vision and they would snipe you the moment they glimpsed your shoelace from half a mile away, and early on in the game they were eating my buttock like roast beef, I only won the game because of the sniper rifle's so i can out snipe them.

So that's what i can think of, what about you?

The Far Cry 2 soldiers definitely need a mention.

Fast guards from AC2 and AC:B, not difficult to kill, just annoying when you're trying to get away.

Fat zombies RDR Undead Nightmare, getting knocked down in a zombie mosh pit is never a good idea.

The Satyrs in the God of War trilogy.

Each game has few of these encounters where you take on highly agile and swift Satyrs that are a ***** to kill.

Any creature from the old Shining in the Darkness on the Genesis/Mega Drive. I don't rate them by how difficult they are but by the tediousness of fighting them. A 30 second combat round for things you kill in 1/2 a hit is just plain obnoxious!

the pikemen from Assassin's Creed 2... they keep spam knocking you down and laughing at you as they do so...

Despite them being technically easy, the Corrupted in Prince of Persia from 2008. Particularly the Concubine. Fuck I hate that ***** so much.

It's just their combos...in fact its their whole combat style. You have to hold RT while they deliver a 24-move combo, then when they change states and you try to move in to get in range for an attack, as soon as you let go of RT they immediately attack you lightning fast.

Tonberries! Shuffle...shuffle...shuffle...STAB! Insta-kill.

Pick something from Demon's Souls... maybe the octopus heads in Tower of Latria, or else the axe miners in the 2nd world... any number of other ones.

Cougars in red dead redemption. *begins sobbing* There was nothing I could do, they killed everyone! There was blood everywhere and it was horrible!

Oh yeah i forgot about these, i remember my second playthrough of New Vegas. Just walking along exploring with lvl 3 character dressed in leather armor and toting around a mighty 9mm pistol.
Stumble across a place called primm pass and im like "oh yay a shortcu- OH GOD THERES DEATHCLAWS AH GOD THEYRE RAPING ME!!!!!!!!!"

Satyrs from God of War for obvious reasons.
Air Soldiers in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories because those little bitches enjoy spamming attacks.
And Ghost Fish from Ninja Gaiden. Sure these little bastards die in one hit, but they always appear in groups and if you don't keep moving and attacking then they will swarm over you and kill you.
