A man starts beating a phone I think, a woman tells him to stop, saying it's an inanimate object.

Then the man yells back "you're an inanimate object".

Well, I feel vindicated that two out of three of you got the reference (and have simultaneously restored my faith in humanity while earning cookies), but it makes me sad that only one of you correctly identified In Bruges by name. While my faith in humanity is restored, it still saddens me to know that only 33.33% of responding Escapists can correctly place this quote in context--a statistic which absolutely must be improved.
