Every time I start a new game on FO3, I have to kill Mr Burke. It's a compulsion now. Fuck that dude!

Reloading my gun even if I fired a single shot or just to have that 1 extra round in the chamber.

Searching every inch of an area for loot.

Performing inventory tetris whenever it gets messy. Health items and grenades are grouped together, guns are next to each other and ammo is next to their respective guns.

Turning every dirt block back to grass when I was Admin in a Minecraft Classic server.

Always making sure my weapons are 100% fixed before I head back out again.
I like your style. I had a lot of fun with Deus Ex recently but hated how it always auto-sorted it for you. Took me ages to get my layout just right and picking up one combat rifle bullet threw it all away.
Well, you CAN turn it off in the options menu. :p

I've been playing a lot of Oblivion lately. I have been collecting many of the books i find in the game, and i've just spent the last hour stacking my collection of books onto the shelves of my house (it became a hell of a lot easier when i discovered a mod for placing books).

What is something obsessive compulsive you have done in a game?
Probably keep starting over Neverwinter Nights 2 trying to find the most entertaining class to play; I should just enjoy the game already. I obsess in RPG games about picking not the most potent, but the most fun class to play & will run through the beginning areas many times figuring this out.

That was my biggest problem with ME2, I started 6 careers and only to find the first one i picked was my favorite.

Basically everything in every game I do is CDO (in alphabetical order, like it should be)...
Hell, even the code I write has to be perfect, along with ever object that I'm coding for.

Running through Crysis on the hardest difficulty and trying solely to use melee. Only melee.
On the upside I can do it blind now :D
What did you do about the end boss fight?

Unrelated: Last time I played through Crysis, I somehow managed to get to that fight without picking up the TAC Cannon. I ended up sitting there indefinitely with Psycho and irritating-archaeologist-woman shouting at me to fire it...

Turns out I'm not that bad, in the grand scheme of things, but I have always had a thing for trying to keep my spare ammo for each weapon be a multiple of that weapons clip size. Its just annoys me to have 5 rifle mags and 6 rounds left over.

Whenever there are collectables I go completely OCD. I don't care if I'm full on rupees, or if going to collect that one might kill me, I WANT THAT FUCKING RUPEE!

I made the Enterprise A and a Klingon Bird of Prey on a freebuild minecraft server. Scale 1:1
And I never saw them again after the beta closed.

And no I am not the Enterprise D Galaxy class dude from youtube. I built them by hand, he cheated by uploading deck plans.

EverQuest II. I used to have to have all my buffs cast in a specific order, so they'd appear a certain way on the screen. If I lost one, everything would have to be recast at the earliest available opportunity so they were right again.

Similar problem. My TAC gun wouldn't fire

Stack books? My friend, I envy you. I've hand-decorated numerous houses in Oblivion, including that big mofo in Skingrad! Same with Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Minecraft, all of it.

Usually I won't stop sandox games until I find every little collectible in the damned thing, such as Crackdown, Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed, and many more.

Also in Oblivion and Fallout (and other RPG's where customization can be heavy) I tend to mindfully change clothes when in public and when I'm on a mission. That's right, I RP all the time! Even in MMO's!

So...many...more...

Can't...tell...all...

In RPGs like FF I have to have amounts of items in multiples of 5. :D
In Fallout 3 and New Vegas I arrange items to make my dwelling look lived in :p Like in New Vegas in my motel room in Novak I put a plate, knife, fork, glass, bottle of sunset sarsaparilla and a brahmin steak on the plate at the table. I have to do it! XD

A friend of mine owns Fallout 3, and when he came over to my place he asked if he could go on the net for a while - his house having very strict internet use policies, you see. I said sure and came back about an hour later to find him making grid chart references on a piece of paper of the location of every Mini-nuke and Bobblehead in the Capitol Wasteland, alongside the known location of named weapons. The next weekend I went to his house to find that he had drawn up (On an A3 piece of Paper) a grid map of the Capitol Wasteland and had marked all of those locations, as well as quests and caravan trading routes. Most of the stuff on there he had simply discovered on his own while playing the game.

I guess he would love playing some of the older CRPG's that require you to map out dungeons.
