Tanks from Left 4 Dead.

Here's how it goes.

-Tank spawns
-Finds Survivors
-Gets Molotov'd and/or 'naded
-Has at least two shotguns and an assualt rifle shooting it
-Dies a few seconds later

He was the only boss I had trouble with, it took me a few tries to beat him.
I had MASSIVE trouble with the Flamelurker when I first fought him. Once he gets enraged he won't let up. After I beat him a few times, I started destroying him. He is among the bosses I have had the most trouble with.
The Old King was a lot easier, since he gives you time to recover. The Flamelurker was just too relentless.
The Maneaters can go to hell and die horribly. They are just too cheap to fight without being cheap yourself.

Caeser from Fallout: NV. I punked him and his entourage with a Q-35 modulator, without any allies.

Really? Everyone is afraid of *this*?

Sepiroth FF7. I set up my materia with counters and Phoenix to the point where I didn't have to attack at all.

Any final boss that takes less than 20-30 minutes to defeat. I want a climactic finale, damnit!

Oh...and Nitro from Crash Team Racing. I never once got beat by him. Ever.

I beat the Flamelurker with a buddy (he got the game months before me, and he wanted to test out the co-op)

Maneater was a **** and a half (even WITH Firestorm).

I didn't like how 3-3 was against another player. When I did it he was a fairly stupid man who I owned easily, but my mate was paranoid and wanted me to help on his one...the guy we versed seemed to have a thousand herbs to use.

The Flamelurker was extremely pissed off though.
The Old Monk PvP thing is either good or bad. Either you get a total ass spamming and using other BS cheap tactics, or you get a fun fight. My most memorable was when I was the boss. I took off all my armor and used only my FISTS OF FURY!!! Best part is I ALMOST killed him a few times, but in the end he took me down. I REALLY wish I would have been recording that fight.
I hope the next one has a better party system and a PvP arena mode with team battles as well as 1v1 duels. If it does, I foresee quite a lot of armorless boxing bouts.

Thats only when its a bad tank run. A good tank run results in him taking out the whole team no sweat, laughing off the gunfire, flames and bile covering him while moving from victim to victim with a fresh knuckle sandwich prepared each time, completely unfazed by the damage taken.

Oh come on, the Great Destroyer from Borderlands trumps all other examples.

Shoot the immobile space vagina for two hundred thousand bucks!

I never even though of that...I would've been happy with just Mic support. But a while co-op storyline would be even better. Especially since you can have quite diverse parties (I mainly use a Longsword, Bow and a bit of magic, while my friend would run around with fucking huge weapons to rape demons with)

I don't want it to rely on having a very diverse party, but some advantages of having one would be good.
I started with melee powerhouse, but have turned into a lightweight heavy hitter with some ranged attacks to be balanced.

Fable 3 enemies, pour your Guild Seals into magic, fireball, ice storm, and spell-weaving and you're the equivalent of god in that world.

Technically not a game one, but this is all I could think of.

Darth Vader (the movie one). They spent 3 full movies showing his back story and motivation, calling him 'The chosen one' etc, but in the original trilogy he wasn't that big of a player... That's as close as I can get to an overly-hyped enemy at the moment.
Not that big of a player? He's Luke's father! He and Luke have two epic lightsaber duels! He restores balance to the Force, defeats the Emperor, and saves Luke's life in one swift act of heroism! How is that over-hyped?
But being hyped up for three movies straight as 'the chosen one' I'd expect him to throw planets with his mind. Instead, Vader is more of the emperor's lap dog even being told what to do by mere imperial officers in the first one (see grand Moff Tarkin). I'd would expect more from someone like that, even if he did look badass.
Thinking about Vader now - his lack of any amazing power really makes sense I suppose when you look at the canon Expanded Universe that games and other media has given us. Starkiller for instance, was used by Vader to try and overthrow the Emperor.. anything that you see of Anakin Skywalker after his transformation isn't really all that impressive, as if the rebuilding of his body only served to repurpose the mind and will of the imposing figure that would become Darth Vader.

He's feared throughout the movies because his powers are highly above those of a regular human - but I suppose a lack of any real enemy made his abilites decay over time.
Actually, im pretty sure its established that Anakin lost a lot of his power when he was reborn as Darth Vader, by that point he was scarred beyond recognition, had lost pretty much every limb, and his life support system was heavy as shit, sure he was a match for most Jedi, but he was really just a ghost of his former power

Dagon from Oblivion was kinda lame. Just a horde of bad guys and his tall arse. You don't even fight him. You just escort Martin into the temple and watch a cutscene.

I quite like the Archery in the game. Especially since I've saved my friend many times with a well placed shot.

Cannot wait for Hunted The Demon's Forge. It looks to be a fucking epic RPG.
The aiming for the bows is kinda weird. They don't ever hit the middle of your crosshairs, it is always to the left or right of the center depending on distance. That and teh arrows are really slow. They are still awesome vs AI, but worthless against other players.

Never heard of it.

Agreed with Killer Croc, disappointing sequence.

And Ganon from Ocarina of Time. Yeah, I said it, that guy was a pansy.

#1 Killer Crok (Batman Arkham Asylum) (seriously how do you spell it)
One of the most inhuman monsters of Batman lore, and you have to play a game of Simon with him...

#2 Super Mutant Behemoth's (Fallout 3) Not very diffuclt enemies, the only problem i could see them posing is if you stumbled into one at a low level, but i had no problem with them. Also i killed them all without the fatman! :)
Normal super mutants scare me more than any behemoth. At least those come in numbers and with miniguns. And those centaur things are fucking horrifying.

That's on normal. On expert it can be quite a lot tougher. Obviously, if you only play versus it'd figure you'd think that of him. Truth be told, it ought to be an advanced tank in a game of versus, to give him a little health boost.

You were honestly expecting to go toe-to-toe with a daedric prince? And not just any daedric prince but the prince of destruction and ambition? What exactly were you hoping to do? Even as a maxed out mage you can't even step to Sheogorath, the sad tosser of the Shivering Isles, without being hurled to a gruesome death. Dagon, even if he were bound by some rules of Nirn as opposed to his omnipotence of the Deadlands, it would still go to reason that he could
a) stomp on your ass
b) magicka your ass to space dust
c) punch/slice/chop/crush/violently penetrate your ass

He's the lord of fire and earthquakes, man!

(For comparison, he's level 100 with 1k hp, 1k magicka and a 100dmg melee attack. Oh, and 100% immunity to paralysis and fire.)

I was expecting something other than walking between his legs while he stands there looking menacingly.

Your arguement is like saying Kratos shouldn't be fighting Zues. Zues kicked the Titans' ass so no mortal could stand up to him. While it may be true that Kratos wouldn't realistically be a match for the god of gods, but I thought we threw realism out the window when gates with demons popped out of the ground. They could have at elast had you fight a lesser form of him. After enough damage, he gets pissed and goes full power. Then you have to avoid him trying to kill you while you escort Martin to the temple.
What you get however, is him just standing there while you take down some goons so you can get a former priest into a temple.
