Have you ever played a game that everyone was SCREAMING about and when you were done with it were like "THAT is what everyone was excited about?!" Well I want you to air out your frustration let it out here. I wanna know what games or series let you feeling unfulfilled after playing it. And no you didn't have to finish it for it to count.

Mine are: the Half-Life and Halo series' Half-Life left me feeling like "I don't get it" While Halo was good but not worth all the hype. Don't hate me. Now what are yours?

World of Warcraft. I finally got to see it after about a year and a half of it being out (probably longer). I couldn't see how it was worth a monthly fee when there are plenty of other games to play.

And a cookie to any one who avoids mentioning the games in the OP.

Don't we already have a really, REALLY long thread about this exact subject going on at the moment?

O' yeah...

There was this game where you drove a four-wheel dirt bike, and the basic idea was to find the right places to hit boost in a simple track that had some ramps and cliffs in it. The driving model was boringly silly, there was no real challenge once you got the boost-spots memorized and that was the whole of the game.

It was boring.

WoW. It's all right, but after playing it for a few months, I've never really found a reason to sink $30 into another game card so I can grind some more. If it were a singleplayer RPG it would be completely fucking awesome, but the way it is--no.

Most recently I say Resident Evil 5. I enjoyed the game, but it's not quite as fantastic as some would have you believe.
