MAgic in oblivion, followed by everything else in the game.
crafting a spell that does drain 100 life for 1 second.

tends to kill them, if not the spell is useless....

Japanese fighters in Pacific Fighters. Man, flying as the Allies in that game is suicide in the early war period. Just like real life.

- GI units from Red Alert 2, specifically the sandbag wall ability. Get a group of them together, drop them into sandbag mode, and nothing short of a nuke will beat them. More than that, you can pack up the sandbags, move them forward, and re-deploy. Using this method you can send 50 GIs across a map, destroying everything along the way, until they finally arrive in the enemy base and proceed to pound the shit out of everything. These guys are the basic infantry troopers! It's as if your entire horde on Dungeon Keeper got wiped out by a bunch of level 1 imps.
My friend actually tried that on me and I countered with Snipers and Mirage tanks
lights them up like matches. but yeah they are pretty fucking powerful and even more if they're elite.... send one to enemy base and deploy them and see one infantry mow down rows of tanks...

Counter-Strike just has 6 guns:
M4, AK, Deagle, Awp, USP, and P90.

Whether you say they're overpowered, or the others are underpowered, is fine by me.

But I'd like to see ONE game someday that appropriately makes the Desert Eagle a useless handcannon that's more likely to injure yourself than the opponent.
Fuck yes! I know they're fictional portrayals but I absolutely hate how movies and games portray Desert Eagles as unstoppable one shot kill powerhouses. During one time at a range a friend of a friend let me take his piece for a go. The first shot hurt my hand as expected, and the second shot caused a stovepipe malfunction while cycling out. He said it was a common issue because of the mechanism and admitted the gun was just for show. You want a reliable gun - stick with a Glock or SIG.

And since we're on VALVe games, the .357 goes head to head with the Deagle. In the original's deathmatch, it was a sniper rifle. Early on in the sequel, it would deal one hit kills when striking the pinky toe on someone with full health and 200 armor. Even after the eventual nerf, it's still overpowered.

Akimbo shotguns.

They just bug me.
Ninja'd and Seconded, Akimbo Model 1887s are for p***ies. (that goes for LMGs too.)
I don't have a problem with LMGs, I find they give people a disadvantage due to the decreased mobility.

Still... it's funny watching people use them, spraying everywhere like Ron Jeremy after celery soup...

How has Goldeneye 007's Klobb escaped mention when it comes to underpowered weapons. You basically just use it if you want to embarrass somebody.

As for overpowered, the small chainsaw/real mega buster combo, especially if you have the books that make the chainsaw last for basically half the game.

The Apprentice in Soul Calibur IV. He is completely cheap and unfair as a character.
Pfft. I could make characters that could two-shot you in that game.

Death Knight OP-ness pales in comparison to the ultimate, supreme, lords of faceroll.

3.0 Ret Paladins.

For the first 2 weeks, they were God incarnate. For the next few months, they were still crazy OP. Only a few months ago were they finally brought down to the level of us mortals.

They are no where near cheap, if you do mean Fallout. I kill them in a couple of shots, no joke.

Javazons with lightning and dodge in Diablo 2. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Erde Kaiser summon from Xenosaga.
Kills everything, bosses included (except last two... they're left only near death), in one hit.

also the noobtube is terrible broken.

anything that someone can use to stop you from taking three steps from spawn or take you out without ever knowing of your very existance at a rate higher that once per match is either broken and just plain OP.

Hammerdins before the most recent patch. Between the two synergies and concentration, nothing quite cleared a room like a Paladin with Blessed Hammer going off in D2.
