most pissed off you've ever been over something trivial

for many many years ive been a pc gamer but recently i decided to pick up a xbox 360 so i could play jrpgs and other games that sadly wont ever make it to my pc

so the first game i decided to buy was star ocean lost hope
seeing as star ocean till the end of time was one of my favourite games

so today after work i fire it up to continue from where i left off yesterday when i notice my controller battery is low so i grab the charge cable and my xbox falls to the side my 360 isnt even far from my pc so it just tilted abit i set it upright and continued to load game

and low and behold disc read error
so i pull out the disc and i see a massive bloody ring ripped into it so i begin to think OH F***
so i decide hell ill try installing it
10% 20% 30% 40% then at 89% disc read error

the only thing that got me through another shitty day was the thought yay tonight i can continue star ocean

i'm not the kinda guy that gets worked up over nothing but seriously ive never got soo mad over something
ive had motherboards blow out brought doa pc gear and taken it in my stride but when this happend bam i actually had to stop myself launching the disc outside my window


also on a side note do you think taking my disc to gamestation and asking them to resurface it would revive my beloved game i would willingly pay them a small fee for the service

from now on i install all my games before i play them and to ppl saying lay your xbox flat hell no the thing has bad enough ventilation as it is without blocking more of it

I put a table fan behind my 360 to blow the hot air away from it. I lay it flat because I think it looks better that way. I always install my games to preserve the life of the DVD drive.

I get pissed off every time I come here. Some of you guys are pretty cool, but I hear some of the most ridiculous reasons for why people think a game that is understand to be great both critically and in sales is actually "terrible". I also find myself getting fired up every time I hear people take a story based game and say, "The story was SHIT," as if the fact that it was a video game automatically dooms it to only ever being complete shit.

But I guess these are problems you could find anywhere.

Back when I was younger I played madden when it was still fun and on several occasions I have broken a controller. That was in the days when twenty or so dollars could get you a new controller now I have to control my rage becuase its fifty dollars. Only madden made me that furious no other game no matter how bad I sucked. Its too bad madden is now over-realistic and took the crazy video game fun out of it. I think its more of a simulator than a video game. Madden should be about crazy plays that shouldn't work in real life and all that stuff.

I get annoyed when people don't know how to spell definitely.

I've seen about 50% of people spell it as "defiantly" on this website. That's retarded.

I usually don't get fired up. I laugh at people when they say certain things. Like one guy was so sure he was right. Pre-law and everything and he was losing the argument and kept repeating himself over and over and over and if he were in court i would have beat him with about 0 law studies lol. But i have a friend who was physically assaulted by this guy i knew over what game was better. The argument was between WoW and CoH Thats City of Heroes For those who don't know.

I dropped a 4 pound airsoft gun on top of my Xbox 360 while moving it out of the way while playing RDR. Luckily, Target gave me a new one free of charge.
