most pointless game charcter?

you know the kinda charcters that just love to get in the way of your game and ruin everything for you, the charcters that annoy you so much you don't want to play the game any more. for me that would have to be navi from zelda, the most (in my opinion) annoying game charcter ever! share you thoughts

OO, i can think of many characters much much worse than Navi... Like every Sonic sidekick ever! Bloody hell, Sega know how to making bloody annoying and pointless characters.. Especially tht stupid bint in Sonic and the Secret Rings who would not stop talking crap to you constantly!

Even though he was the main character of the game, he really didnt add anything to the games story. in fact, I heard Squareenix wanted to make Basche the main character, but the Japanese found him too manly. They need to fix of Androgenous protagonist or the FF game will lose its touch. apparently.

yes he was totaly pointless except for being a torch holder and target practice..actually he is quite usefull


most useless for me: dungeon siege 2: the elf person in the training mission, he gives you a ring and he dies and somewhere close to the end they go about that damn ring again and that guy (who i didn't remember) and it is just as confusing as this post and frankly i just wanted to kill stuff!!!

This. Although I had him follow me into an oblivion gate and left him in there when I destroyed it. It seemed like the most appropriate way to repay all the annoyance he had provided me with.

Well, Balthier was the only character I really liked in that game, but that picture of Vaan will most likely haunt me for a while

A typical pretty boy shallow lead so I could ignore that... the game was bland(equipment) and broken(skill system) despite the advancements it made in level design and gameplay....
