I figured people would say RE5, which isn't racist at all. You are in the heart of Africa. Granted, I know that South Africa has a small white population, but still. Slavery ended in 1865. Get over it.

I really don't want to be that guy, but South Africa has a rather different history to the USA. Black people were second class citizens in S Africa until Apartheid ended in 1990. But I actually agree with you that Resident Evil 5 isn't a racist game. Crass maybe, but not racist.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Final Fantasy 7, with black stereotype Barret.

It's easier to get away with it when talking about nonhuman types.

WEll, it depends on what you mean by racism. In those games, it is prejudice not racism. I mean they aren't even of the same species with the prejudice against the non humans. Well maybe except the Asari since they reproduce with humans willingly with each other and have fertile offspring. Hmm. maybe it makes sense to call it racism in Mass Effect at least pertaining to Asari.

And don't forget the pure-blood drama. That would definitely count as being very racist.

Very true, so the ME games definitely have racism. But come to think of i the racism is depicted in a negative light unlike other games mentioned in this topic which are actually pro racism. Can't think of any racism in Dragon Age though...

Well except maybe at the Darkspawn since they are former humans, dwarfs, etc.... Well, come to think of it the main character if a dwarf (or even an elf) can reproduce with Morrigan. But I'm not sure if that is typical that may be magic involved. (one of the biggest criteria for something to be the same species in biology generally is willingness to reproduce and for those offspring to be fertile. )

Meh That game should end any topic when it is first mentioned but it never seems to.... But I see later in the topic that it is actually isn't the most racist game. However, I think it is the most racist console game that I know of.
