It wasn't exactly a glitch but in Need For Speed: Most Wanted I had a scaffold fall into my car and pin it in place so I couldn't move. With about 5 seconds left in cool down mode a cop found me and I got caught. I had just finished a pursuit that had last 20 minutes and got me the three last cop achievements to finish the game that I'd been trying to get for DAYS.

I just completed the final Thieves Guild quest. I had just ditched the royal guard and made it back to the Grey Fox. I went to Anvil to witness the revelation of the Gray Fox's identity and his troubled reunion with his wife.

And then my character freezes in place and never moves, making the quest unbeatable

Anyone who's played Pokemon G/S/C long enough knows this one. When the internal battery runs dry, the game no longer holds saves. It doesn't warn you about this, there's no error message or anything. You just turn it on one day, and your save file is gone forever.
So THAT'S what happened. I thought the literal hundreds of drops of the gameboy finally actually did something.

Gameboys are freaking indestructible.

King Arthur Collection on Steam. Fucking game randomly crashes before or after battles. I found this out the hard way when I won a battle I shouldn't have through skill, tactics and a bit of luck. 40 Minutes of stress and warfare later, I let out a cheer quickly followed by a long string of curse words when the game crashes in the loading screen, which is to say 'before I could save'. That game is the sole reason I now have a folder called "Fuck you, Paradox!" (Paradox is the developer) in my library.

I ran into a glitch in farcry 2 where you couldnt activate/open a door that was essenntial to continueing the game. I was incredibly pissed because I'd done 100% of the side quests and alternative mission options up untill that point.

There's a glitch on Red Dead where if you fall out of a wagon Marston will faceplant the ground as per usual but then stay there, just slowly moving in a certain direction until you reload your save file.

The most recent one would be in Mass Effect 2. I've had much worse, but this is the most recent. Sometimes Commander Shepard decides it would be a good idea to get ON TOP of cover.
Ohhh god, this. Once, I was getting near to the end of a mission, and I took cover a little too close to a wall or something, and my shep proceeded to float up the side and get stuck in the ceiling... that was so annoying.

Oh, and fallout 3. That has to be the most annoying game for glitches ever, usually after you haven't saved for a while and you'd lose all your progress. Yeah, I ragequit that game a few times.

Diablo 2. after so many deaths and changing my strategy. I was finally able to kill Diablo. I was ready to move on to Act 5 but then that damn angel didn't send me there while other players who were playing with me could progress.

It really pissed me off.

Pretty much this. Shit sucks.

Although as far as ones that haven't been mentioned, during Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, I was about to beat Stone Tower Temple with all the fairies and such, and had made it to the final spinning spiky things. I put up my shield to avoid taking damage, and got stuck to the spinning spiky bar. I was unable to move, couldn't put my shield down, and had to reset the system. Luckily, I know the game backward and forward, and it's one of my favourite temples ever, so I didn't mind that much.

This wasn't rage, but still an interesting glitch, in The Red Star for PS2, a friend was playing coop with my brother, and they were getting their asses kicked. I picked up the controller, taking over for the friend, and suddenly, we weren't taking any damage. At first we thought we had just gotten better at it suddenly, but after a particularly unforgiving boss fight, we tested it out. God mode had been enabled, we couldn't take any damage, and were able to blow through the game in record time, and just tanked the final boss.

Oh, and this wasn't rage either, but caused MASSIVE rage for my friend. He had apparently made huge progress in Oblivion, and let me take over for him for a few minutes. I didn't want to get in any combat situations, because I didn't want to fuck things up for him, so I just piddled around in town, and took a swim. As soon as I left the water, my breath bar was still dropping. I called him over, and he couldn't figure it out. I tried diving underwater again, and came up for air, but the character just would NOT BREATHE. He just held his fucking breath while running around frantically until he dropped dead. I'm not sure how much data you lose in the game if you die, having never played it for an extended period of time, but apparently it was a huge annoyance. I thought it was funny as hell.

Another glitch that caused a lot of rage for others, was at a LAN party. Three friends were playing Starcraft, and were taking an epic last stand against the computers. I was on my Gamecube playing Ocarina of Time, and beat the entire game in one sitting, just to get access to the swordless Link glitch to show someone. I said 'here's where the fucked up things start, especially with the horse'. I played Epona's Song, and as soon as the whinny was heard, the power went out. We blew a fuse, not only downstairs, but UPSTAIRS. NOBODY was upstairs, we have no idea how it happened, and we were forced to fix the fuses with no light except a red lightsaber.

Needless to say, the Starcraft players were furious at their lost game, and I laughed heartily.

I got that one too AND COULD NEVER FINISH IT. Oblivion is my favorite game ever but I stopped playing on my latest play-through because of that. Tried doing everything the internet said.. could not fix it.

Warrior Kings: There's a mission on it where you need to get your the main character (Artas) To a boat to escape the imperial army, your given a small force and can find more on the way through secondary objectives, anyway I reached the end and wouldnt ya know it! the boats glitched and the imperial forces killed me!

This happened 4 times In a row until the boats FINALLY pulled up the shore successfully. the 2nd part of the glitch was when the Mission didnt end, It was just the imperial forces attacking my boat, I was panicking because I thought the mission would fail if my main character died with the boat, however, the instant the boat dropped to 0 it said I was victorious (Thank fuck for that...)

Risen. At one point you have to go find some druid wizard man in his hut. After finding him you're supposed to go find a barrier and then go back the wizard who gives you a spell or something to disable the barrier. Only in my game it refused to flag the fact i'd found the barrier and seeing as this was a main quest i literally couldn't advance. So i started up a new game, got to that point and it still refused to accept it. Never touched the game since

It happened only recently. There was plenty of bad language, anger and need for alcohol.

Dead Space 1.
There's episode called vaguely "centrifuge" - everyone who played it knows what i'm talking about. Without spoilering too much : it's about running around big hall, in hope to reach small niche, waiting there for big machinery to move next to your hideout and then running to next one.

Unfortunately, Isaac (protagnoist) refuses to move as fast as possible - he simply drags on like another episode of "Bold and Beautiful" never quickly enough to reach safe place. Just prior to entering niche there's SPLAT! and poor sucker dies crushed, smeared, dismembered by tons of machinery.

Pity, because i find DS1 very interesting game. :(
When I play this part I seem to have 10 seconds to spare, are you sure you're sprinting / not missing a closer niche?

Any glitch in a multiplayer game makes me rage the same amount.

A couple of examples would be being able to glitch through some walls on counter-strike or lagging in a game to prevent yourself from being able to be targetted, this one is in multiple games.
