Though Batman is my favorite superhero, he isn't quite obscure enough. I suppose the Incredible Popeman is worth mentioning, though.

Agreed. I just put up the movie poster of him lighting his cigar with his flamethrower in Vietnam, with the quote "We're society's only protection" on the bottom.Ruzzian Roulette said:

Deadpool for Marvel, The Creeper for DC, those two are the avatars of chaos itself, both are absolutely nuts and they are even both heroes, at least since Deadpool decided to make himself into one at the end of Cable and Deadpool.
Now for favorite...holy crap I'm not sure where to go here...probably Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) for DC and Spider-man for Marvel right until they cocked up his story by having him reveal his identity to the world, like he said he would never do not even 1 year before that issue started, so my current favorite Marvel is Deadpool. Special mention for Empowered who I think is really cool, I like her even better than my previous mentions, but that's because she is better written I'm sure that if the others were written better I would have a trifecta of awesome.
