This is search bar approved. Really.

What is the most realistic game?

My candidit is actually a huge strech.

Indigo prophecey.

Their are pills and alchohal on a counter. Take both, and your charecter dies.

Friggen awesome.

Even the first sequence is completeley beleivable. Run out the front door, causing panic and leaving little for the police to go on, or dispose of the weapon, hide the body, clean yourself up and pay the check, at the risk of the waitress getting a good look at your face.

I know the second half turns a corner at batshit blvd. but in a situation like that, Its beleivable how the eents would unfold.

This gets the search bar seal of approval

EDIT: no simulator games.

Well, i'm gonna get slammed for my weirdness here for sure, but the most realistic "game" that i can think of is microsoft flight simulator. Not realy sure if that qualifies as a game though...

Final Fantasy X. Seriously, bear with me...

... [small] Fine, I lied.[/small]

There was a WW2 game a little while back with pretty much no HUD and about two shots killed you. It was very realistic, but utter crap. I can't recall the name...

Sure it does! And I will second this nomination. Especially when you get some mods in there.

Sorry, can't think of anything better than Call of Duty Hardcore gametypes. No hud, friendly fire is on (watch where you fire off Air Strikes), you have a map only when you fire off a UAV, and you die in a couple hits. Take away the healing and you'd be set.

Really? even with the whole ancient Meso-American death cult being the harbringer of doom, and not to mention the internet beings, and oh wait your a secret super hero. Interesting.

I'm going to hae to go with GTA4, which is what makes it so lame.

Then i guess the IL-2 Sturmovik series is also a no-no? At least you get to fire guns, we all like guns...

no such thing as a realistic game, although im pleasantly surprised this thread isn't about bloody graphics, so i'll add my bit.

Uhm.. i guess i'll go with KZ2, at least as far a shooters go, movement and aiming feel heavy and realistic, you feels as if your controlling a human body, not just pointing a cross-hair at targets.

My vote is probably for Call of Duty Hardcore also. The only way they really could have made that more realistic is if instead of getting radar someone TOLD you where the enemies were at. Then again, it'd probably get really annoying hearing "He's in the market place! or He's hiding under the car to the right!" everytime you got a UAV.

Fable 2:

-WARNING: SPOILERS-

You don't get jack for killing things, you get in trouble for killing people and, if you want money you have to indure several boring, mundane jobs throughout your lifetime. Your dog dies, your family dies and, you live out the rest of your days with a boring, hollow woman or man

The beginning was yes, but that's pretty much it though. The rest was just a bunch of random QTE's, even the dialogue.

Super Mario games. As a plumber, I can vouch for everything those heroic Mario Brothers had to go through... Except for the Goombas. Real ones are, like, twelve feet tall!
