All hope is gone by SlipKnot.I don´t buy many albums.Just buy Vinyl.
It ought' be noted that vinyl records do indeed count as albums.
Then it would be Dark Side of the moon by Pink Floyd.

Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings.

It is one of their best in years. Just love The Count of Tuscany!
I agree. I actually love the whole album. I was absolutely stunned the first time I listened to the album.

Back on topic, my most recent album was:

Hypnotize, by System of a Down.

Strange Cousins from the West by Clutch

Awesome album - low-down, gritty blues rock. Where else are you going to hear (good) songs about Abraham Lincoln, radio tower conspiracies, and hunts for Chupacabras and the Moth Man?

And the design of the case is really cool as well -

*Hates you now*

I've never had a chance to see them live. Living in britain where they hardly ever tour is crap! And hey you think you had problems tracking down Karma? The ONLY album you can buy on shelves over here is Ghost Opera! I had to download everything else, through both legal and not so legal means.

But damn at least I managed to get ALL their stuff eventually!! Now I just need to see them live and I could die happy!
Aawwww, don't hate. I still <3 you!

Wow, really? Down here, you can get: The Black Halo, Ghost Opera, Ghost Opera: The Second Coming, and One Cold Winter's Night without much difficulty. Best Buy sells 'em, F.Y.E. sells 'em... Anything early than The Black Halo, though, you need to order online. Of course, I don't actually have One Cold Winter's Night, but that's lower on my priority list than Karma because it's just a remix of old songs rather than a distinct CD, and my computer doesn't have an optical drive so the DVD doesn't do me much good...I did download it though, just so I could use the footage for when they did the Love You To Death music video contest. I didn't win because I couldn't get it done in time to submit it, but boy howdy I put SO much work into that. It's the only music video I've ever made, but I'm actually really really proud of it. :)

Where do you live? I know they're not doing a tour this year because they're taking time off to work on their next album, but other than that, they seem to do pretty extensive tours every year. I mean, I'm in the state they're based out of, so I'm guaranteed to get at least one, often two shows each tour (The one where I got to feel up Thomas was the first show of the tour in their hometown, hence why all the wives were there), but still, they tend to tour pretty extensively...and tickets are usually only $16-$20, which makes me SOHAPPY.
Well like I said, I've got pretty much all of their stuff now (thank the gods for utorrent!), but you just can't find the albums in stores. I guess they're just not very well known over here. I've met all of, erm, 2 people who know them, and one of them only dicovered them because they got sent the wrong album in the post (they were after an album by Epica, and got Kamelots Epica by mistake).

So yeah, they just don't seem so well known here, so they don't tour much, although they WERE here earlier in the year, but even then they only played like 3 gigs across the whole country in a month. I was unable to go see them then though.

Oh well, hopefully next year eh?

I recently bought Pinkerton by Weezer. It hasn't come in yet. Damn Amazon.com. I also don't know how to put pictures in my posts, so no picture of the album cover. I have heard the album, and I love it. One of Weezer's best work.

Let's rate it! 9/10, only because 1 or 2 of the songs haven't grown on me yet.

Standout Tracks: Tired of Sex, Pink Triangle, Butterfly

The most recent album that I have bought and have at the moment is King's Of Leon's Only By The Night. It is nothing like their older stuff, which reminded me of the Kinks, but it is like U2. Very arena rocky and a lot of reverb. I personally am not that into U2, but I did like this album. I like their Singer's voice, very raw sounding, and the guitar work isn't insane, but it sounds good, and it fits, which is all that matters.

8/10, because some of the songs seem a little similar, and even though they are good songs, listening to them after eachother makes them get a little old.

Standout Tracks: Crawl, Manhattan, Notion

Sorry for the reviews, I just kinda felt like reviewing them. They aren't very good reviews either.
