I walked out on "Dinner for Schmucks". The movie was horrible, the acting was bad, and, to top all of that off, the crowd that I was with were dumb; they just sat there quite when a good comedian did something funny, but they laughed their butts off when the the main character did something stupid, or the other guy talked about mice. And let us not forget about the sex jokes - all of them were bad and I felt like I should have been refunded for my time and my money.

I never walk out of movies, why? Because I generally only go to movies I know I'll probably enjoy. If the movies worse than I expect I usually wait it out hoping it gets better or knowing at least I can complain about it, I like being in a cinema, the ones I go to are usually quite comfortable and I don't go to packed sessions. I have fallen asleep in movies though, especially on the couple of occasions I've taken my sister/s to a chick flick or I'm hungover.

Vampires Suck, but my girlfriend at the time came running after me and dragged me back in, insisting I had to see the whole thing since it was our anniversary.

I walked out of Eragon after about 30 minutes when it just came out. Other than that, none that I can think of.
God I WISH I walked out of that, but that was when I was young and "didn't know you could walk out of theaters." As stupid as that sounds, I just had never thought about it before.

Oh, that's a lie. I walked out of the Exorcism of Emily Rose, but that was just because I was on the edge of a nervous breakdown and I couldn't handle that movie any longer. I hate, hate HATE scary movies.

I've turned off movies before, but I never think about them.

I almost walked out of Despicable Me because it was stupid. So, so, so stupid. But as a film student, I felt bad about walking out.

I Love You, Man... I just didn't give a shit. I'm so sick of all these shitty raunchy comedies coming out such as Get Him To The Greek, The Hangover, and Tropic Thunder. What I want is a classy comedy, something that's funny because it's actually funny, not because someone said "fuck" for the thousandth time.

Transformers 2. I didn't want to see it after the first considering my opinion of it, walked out after seeing dogs humping and got my money back as it was only a small bit into the film, went home and watched some Doctor Who instead. One of my mates joined me.

I have seen it on dvd when the same friends invited me to theirs after renting a bunch, in a place where you can drink and joke about what you're watching, I was able to make it through.

Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I wasn't expecting a completely faithful sequel(though it was rather accurate), but the constrained plot, constant mispronunciations and pisspoor acting pushed it into Uwe Boll territory.

The last time was when I was 12 or 13 and forcibly dragged out of Wedding Crashers by my mother because of the naked women in the beginning. My mom has this thing about nudity.

I've never walked out on a movie voluntarily and I usually will go see movies that I think I'll enjoy.

I can't remember which actual movie it was, but back in...I want to say it was the summer of 1998...I walked out on a girl who was running her yap in a movie theater while we were on a date, this after boring me nearly to tears at dinner. She got up to go to the bathroom, I took the opportunity to make for the exit. Then gave an earful to the friend who set us up.

I've only ever walked out of a movie in a theater once, and it was Thank You for Smoking. I just couldn't see the point or humor of it.

In another vein though I've left the room for plenty of movies other people were watching on the TV. Generally it's just because I'm not in the mood for sappy/bland/actiony or whatever it is.

I walked out of Splice since it made it physically nauseous. Seriously, for a second I thought I was going throw up, but it passed by the time I got to the bathroom. That's the only time I've ever done that, though. I sat through all of The Surrogates despite hating it intensely.

I can't walk out of any movie. My GF at the time wanted to see Meet The Spartans and I still watched it from beginning to end.

Sometimes you go to a movie theater just to watch the car wreck, and sometimes you stay to watch it burn, and I think she knew I'd watch the Car crash and Burn with her if that was what she wanted to do.

Short of that, nothing else. I cannot leave a movie, because as bad as it might be, I paid to see it, and see it I shall.

This disturbed me and brought me to tears, NSFW .
It's quite a long clip and starts with Helen Mirren naked... skip to about 3:10 to see a small boy tortured and killed. The point where I left.

Aww, that's a shame. It's actually a very rewarding film if you're into that sort of thing.
I was actually reletively enjoying the film until that point, I felt the performances were good and the use of colour inovative. I almost walked out earlier when I thought Michael Gambon was going to rape his wife infront of the child.
