It's hard to find someone not from Nintendo games.

Does anyone remember the Army Men games that vame out every other week for the Game Boy? There could be someone there.

I had the PC ones, Plastro is the big one.

We weren't just talking about "bosses" I think? just villains in general? If so, it has to be ... bats.

yes just bats. Name me an action/adventure top-down or side-scroller that doesn't have bats in it... I can't think of any. bats are everywhere, from ghosts and goblins, to Zelda, to castlevenia, to some non so common games like "totally rad". honestly, the bat is the most re-occurring villain ever.

For bosses, I would like to think besides Bowser as mentioned, Dr. Willey from Mega man seems to just not die.

It is in ever freaking cave in every game and is arguably the most annoying Pokemon ever created! Almost every evil player in the game has one if not two of the damned things.

I start playing the newest installment, pokemon platinum, expecting to see some new faces I'm not sick to death of, what do I see in the first cave I go in (every 5 steps)

seriously, he may have helped make doom and quake and shape the fps genre, but looking at EVERY game hes done after leaving id (espically one which is too horrible to mention by name) one has to think that hes posioned the genre more than shaped it.
