First Person Shooters. Then I guess Touhou, but then I love those games to death. Then Guild Wars. All repetitive? Yes. But I love 'em all nonetheless.

i felt AC1 was kinda repetitive, besides the actual targets, everything else was race around(idk how that is supposed to help you kill a target) pick pocket information, blah blah blah blah, maybe that is why i have yet to beat it.

Most games seem pretty repetitive.

For me it's Dead Rising. Maybe because I restarted the game a bunch so I could keep my upgrades when I died, but I swear I did the opening sequence at least fifty times.

Grand Theft Auto, the entire franchise.

All you essentially do is drive to location A. Talk with someone, and they'll give you a mission. Drive to location B. Put a few bullet holes in people or vehicles. Escape. Repeat.

Ok, so there's a bit of variation within the missions, but essentially you drive from point A to point B and then something happens, and then you drive/run away.

The only thing that saves GTA from being a big repetitive mess is Rockstars ability to tell brilliant stories and have very well written dialouge and characters.
Who saud you had to do missions? I didn't bother doing those missions at all. Grand theft Auto is meant for you to run around and kill people in the most various ways, or getting yourself killed in the most various ways.

But the most repetitive for me is any Halo games

Ah, yes you're quite right. I tend to focus on the missions more than the free roaming, but I take your point. I'll rephrase then. The missions are repetitive, but the game is not.

TESIV was very boring, at least, until I got the mods. There is nothing quite like spamming aetherial nukes on the hordes of Oblivion. Or completely ignoring them with a freakin Zeppelin.

The Dynasty Warrior games will make you learn the meaning of the word repetition.

Damned if i don't love 'em to bits though...

But that might also be because i do enjoy the actual story behind the romance of the three kingdoms to begin with and know bits and bobs about feudal China.
