I can't believe you managed to find 'art' WORSE than 'the bed'...

That square can barely be called art. No matter what bullshit he spins around it, the fact is that he put a square of black paint on a white canvas. That's it. No thought went into it whatsoever. While with "My Bed" she actually had to arrange it. I wouldn't consider it as 'art' art, but she put some effort in compared to Malevich.

OT, we also had to do a study of this joker's art- Sean Scully. He pumps out this tripe all year and gets lauded for it.

As an art student I have to look at this kind of shit everyday. I believe there is some brilliant well known artists living today (such as Anish Kapoor and Antony Gormley (sp?)) but there's also a hell lot of shit with Tracey Emin at it's head. My Bed is hardly the worst thing she's produced.

I dont believe it, i reject this statement. ive drawn things inside the book covers of my enemys at school that were pretty much this or BETTER.
