Modern Warfare 2: Chopper Gunner
BF Bad Company 2: the UAV...espeacially when I use it >:) (16 kills in one sitting...with just the hellfire missles)
Shotguns, any game. When anyone uses them, they have long range, when I use them I have to get point blank.

perhaps the sticky bomb launcher in TF2 pre-update? It did have a few too many bombs, making spawn-camping all too easy

And Master of Orion 2's Stellar Converter (ok it's not an fps game but it blows up planets!).
On Master of Orion 3, if you had ships equipped with stellar converters but couldn't be bothered to play the space battle, rather than using the millions of troops you'd taken to the world to invade the AI would decide that you obviously wanted to destroy the planet. This became very irritating and forced you to play so many insipid, cookie cutter space battles if you actually wanted the planet for strategic or resource purposes that I eventually gave up putting stellar converters on ships and resorted to the second best available weapon.

Hammer from Kirby Superstar. Even the True Arena in the DS remake takes eight minutes for my longest time and that has the games hardest bosses in it. It's charge move can one hit kill some bosses, two hit kill most others.
Most definitely this, even though it has the hardest in-game bosses they can be a pushover with the hammer. Not that I'm gloating at this point but I my best time in the True Arena is *checks time* 4:45:70. Yes I played it far too much
What up kirby nerd? *checks all 3 of my files* My best personal time is five minutes or so I don't have that file anymore though, and that was mostly getting lucky. I tend to prefer more just playing the entire game through rather then trying to get faster times. Though I do tend to go for completeing all 3 arenas and filling the scores for all of it (helper to hero can be painful with wing) Ninja is pretty over powered too if you know how to use it properly.
I agree with you on the Wing power in Helper to Hero, it is most likely the most useless ability in that game. Also agree with the Ninja, although that said he is a Ninja so he would be badass to begin with

Never played 3, but I take your point - that could be irritating. The weapon to use in 1 and 2 was always plasma cannons anyway. Stellar converters were kinda ott.

How has noone mentioned the goddamn Kane from Mass Effect 2, it was a handheld nuke
Probably because of the long charge times and pretty rare ammo.
How nobody has mentioned the Arc Projector from the same game, I don't know.

The S&W M500 from RE5, the firepower of a totally unupgraded M9 handgun is 100... The M500 has a firepower of 5000!

3 groups of 10 Prism Tanks in a pincer maneuver.

Come to think of it, the whole Allied side of RA2 is overpowered with the infantry able to bunker down the way they do. Throw in a sniper or two vs Yuri clones and you have it in the bag.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Redeemer and the Ion Painter from Unreal Tournament.

as soon as I read the title I thought farsight.
Damn, you beat me to it.

The Farsight from Perfect Dark is the most overpowered weapon in any game that I have ever played. The fact that it is a 1-hit-kill (2 if your shielded), and the fact that you can't hide from it - anywhere probably makes it the deadliest videogame weapon ever created.

Dead Ringer, Spy's item in Team Fortress 2.

I mean COME ON, this is ridiculous. So with this equipped not ONLY do you get shot and take no Damage, not ONLY do you instantly turn invisible, not only do you drop a fake corpse making everyone think they killed you but while invisible you have a 90%(!) damage reduction! You effectively have 1250hp, almost 3 time as much as a fully buffed heavy.

Oh and running over ammo extends this invisibly period.

I mean even if the enemy doesn't use it, it still causes trouble as for every spy you kill you have to second guess if you REALLY killed them.

The only possible defence is a dedicated spy checking pyro who sprays wide. And you know what, the spies ACTUALLY complain about how the spies can reveal them when they are invisible? Oh play fair would ya.

At least the de-cloak makes a very loud and distinctive sound.

I will one up you, with The Nuke in Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer.

No only will it insta kill you, not only can you not hide from it but it will kill EVERYONE in the game and be insta-game over.

Now THAT is fucking overpowered.

R.H.Y.N.O from Ratchet & Clank. It's like a rocket machine gun.
