Beginning of up. Carl walking so sadly with that balloon is just heartbreaking.

The part near the end of Red Dead Redemption when John stood in the barn, knowing what was going to happen. Then, as he fell, dying... I felt the waterworks coming up.

Aside from that, it was the end of FF8, until you find out that Squall's not dead.

ending of Code Geass... If you saw it you know what I mean. He wasn't really a hero but... yeah...

And naturally, the opening of Up as many before me have said...

The episode of Futurama which dealt with his dog in the past. I cant' watch that episode, I literally can't.
Watch Bender's Big Score. It'll cheer you up, I guarantee it.

OT: I know everyone else has said it, but Up. Those first ten minutes were some of the most powerful I've seen in a movie.

Many, many times in Scrubs. Especially JD's ending. Plus, Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy 10, Dragon Age: Origins part's. And lot's of others.
Like another person said, the episode of Futurama with Fry's dog.

Scrubs, when Dr Cox tries to get organs to save three patients and ends up killing them and loses control

Schindler's List, at the end when he breaks down and blames himself for keeping his pin and car instead of selling them to save more people

Nostalgia hits in... 3... 2... 1.

Oh God! That actually caught me buy suprise. I thought she'd be Envy, not Sloth. And I thought the way they portraied Hughes death was a lot more emotional... Damn, anyone now a good website where I could rewatch it please?
Well, the original series was made before the manga was finished so it strayed a hell of a lot. Brotherhood follows the manga much more closely and a lot of things make much more sense. For instance, Bradly is now Wrath instead of Pride, and a 'new' character is Sloth, a big muscle-bound giant who constantly says "This is a drag" or the sort.

I'm afraid I can't help you with rewatching the series though, since I don't like streaming my anime.
The final manga chapter, released a few days ago, made me cry.
Great ending, great series.

The anime i never got quite into. I managed to grind my way through the first one, but is Brotherhood worth it?

For me it was Clannad: After Story.
The part where Nagisa died had me bawling for awhile, but when Ushio died I had to pause I was crying for so long. Man, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
OMG I came into this thread to say exactly that!!! Never cried so much in my whole life! Then of course I cried in happiness when ...

Tomoya obtained the third orb and the miracle made it that Nagisa didnt die.

I can barely even remember what the beginning of Up was like, didn't effect me a great deal though.

7 Pounds had me bawling.

Carl Sagan reading his "Pale Blue Dot".

To me, it's some of the most beautiful and insightful prose imaginable.

I understand completely. Whenever I even catch a whiff of that episode on TV, I change channel immediately.

Yes its deffinately worth it... they episode 1 is different and the stuff with Cornello is different arg I hated that but the rest of the anime is great. If you are a fan of FMA Watch it
