Personally, I'd say it's definitly worth it. Brotherhood starts out roughly the same as the original anime, but it quickly diverts off a new road and becomes infinitly better than the original anime. I gotta say, except for how they showed Hughe's death, Brotherhood is completely superior in every single way.Convictfish said:The final manga chapter, released a few days ago, made me cry.Aby_Z said:snip
Great ending, great series.
The anime i never got quite into. I managed to grind my way through the first one, but is Brotherhood worth it?
All three of those had me in tears. Stupid characters I got too attached to.Xeros said:Whenwhen Ash "died" in Poke'mon The First Movie, andXion dies,

yeah episode 3 onward was severely depressingCliffie said:For some reason as I've gotten older I've started getting emotional more easily when watching a movie. From the top of my head, here are a few:
Up! - This have been mentioned several times in this thread but it's so f**kin' sad I can't help it.
Zelda Openings - Yeah, nostalgia hits me whenever I boot up a new Zelda game. They play the classic Zelda theme and talk about The Hero and the tri force and all of that stuff. I just can't help it.
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien - If you've seen this anime you know what I'm talking about. It's so depressing. It starts of like your average anime but at episode 3 or so shit hits the fan and everything changes. VERY good.
There are many more but that will have to do for now.
I watched every single episode of scrubs and in order. I felt very attached to the characters, but during the finale I found myself a lot more dissapointed than sad. I guess I just couldn't accept that JD was "leaving" Turk because it was just too ridiculous of an idea. What made it especially unbelievable was that it was JD's idea.PhoenixKing said:Well, the series 8 finale of Scrubs, essentially the last episode of the show. The ending made me nearly break out into tears.

1.GTAIVif you killed dwayne instead of playboy x and check your emails there is one from dwayne saying that you are the only friend he has and if it would be cool to hang out some time2.Fahrenheit (Indigo prophecy in the US)when tiffany dies sniff sniffactually just the whole mood of that game
3.MGS1 the best in the seriesin one ending meryl dies and snake holds her body in his arms and screams her name....4.MGS1 when sniper wolf dies and repents for her killing and otacon cries as he was in love with her
5.MGS1 psycho mantis`s back story told to snake as mantis bled to death
6.MGS3 when the boss died
actually all of Metal Gear solid series is sad

I don't see how anyone could have possibly cried at any part in MGS1 except maybe point 3. I don't want to come across as rude or mean but do you cry a lot? Because I hear things more sad than those every other day.
EDIT: I just tried to recreate crying at the part where mantis gives his backstory and I actually ending up cracking up and laughing at how ridiculous it felt.
Ok dude, you're allowed to say that again after watching Clannad and Clannad: After Story.haddaway234 said:No form of media has ever made me cry and probably ever will. I've also never met a man who has cried because of a movie, game, etc. I got close (i.e blinking a lot and breathing deeper) once at the end of Final Fantasy VII:Crisis Core when Zack dies and Aeris finally gets all his letters.
Its funny how I've played pretty much every game I've heard of that is supposed to have a good story for the 360, Wii, PC, DS, PSP, GameCube, SNES, and much more but nothing has had a story as good as Crisis Core's IMO.
