I didn't want you to go either David ;(
I agree, despite not really liking the episode. I do think that Eccleston had a much more subtle and sad regeneration, with him smiling sadly at Rose, just before he regenerated. I do wonder what would have happened if the 9th Doctor's series had a bigger budget, and, to be honest, I think the (relatively) low budget made it more personal, more human, relying more on the actors and script than the later RTD series. Just me though.

OT: Futurama dog, as usual, Torchwood Out of Time, The Illusionist (French animated film), and Red Dead Redemption, because really, who didn't cry manly tears at the end?
Torchwood's "Out Of Time" was sad, but it is no way a bigger tear jerker than Ianto Jones dying in Jack's arms.
Well, now that was an interesting case. I saw Children of Earth twice. First time was at a friend's house, and I hadn't watched any Torchwood earlier. I later borrowed the season, but I really only had time to watch it when I pulled a muscle in my neck and had to stay home, but watching TV while in pain is not a great way to be emotionally involved, really. I think at some point, maybe next month, I'll sit down, and watch all of Torchwood, from Series 1 to 4, and probably then I'll have an actual reaction to his death. So, I'm sure it's very sad, but I was just distracted when watching it, both times.

the closest i've ever come was Jurassic Bark, where you find out what happened to Fry's dog and the episode of pokemon where Ash makes pikachu run away (i don't remember why, exactly).

however, and i may have said this before on a similar forum, my grandfather (a russian) cried when he saw the ending to World at War.

Damn... I was going to say the same thing.

The ending of the first episode of the new series of being human, a single manly tear was shed.
I've never cried at a book before
Bioshock good ending, red dead redemption ending
I've only been able to listen to part of the song "tears in heaven" once because it made me cry so much.

I generally don't full on cry, but things make me tear up. Like Red Dead Redemption, that scene from Up, and the bit in Ashes to Ashes when you found out
how everyone died

Oh and here's some sad/emotional music:

And the ultimate sad song for me:

OKAY. Everyone keeps saying "Fry's Dog", alright, that story was actually based off a true story about a Japanese man and his dog Hachiko. I watched the movie make of it called "Hachi: A Dog's Tale" it stars Richard Gere, ANYWAY. The movie is BEAUTIFUL. The music is the real killer in it. I sobbed allllll the way through the last 10min of the movie.... damn sweet dogs and their loyalty T-T
Also, I'm a final fantasy fangirl so im gonna say ffx with Yuna and Tidus and Zacks death in Crisis Core :D

The ending of Chobits was a complete tearjerker for me and it came out of absolutely nowhere.

My girlfriend suggested that we watch it because she enjoyed it (Even went as far to cosplay as Freya at the last convention we went to) but she warned me it was maybe a little too girly for my liking.

We watched it any way and I thought it was hilarious but also very sweet.
When Chii realises that Hideki is her special person that is only for her...made me cry happy tears (manly tears)

Boom. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_v57oMwcco&feature=player_detailpage#t=228s]

Believe me when I say there are a great many things about Reach that I didn't like: it's probably my least favourite Halo game. But goddamn if that ending wasn't masterfully done. If the rest of the game had done as good a job setting that mood, it'd have been legendary.

Ah, yes. That was the first game I ever cried at. I was young, but I'd be lying if I didn't feel something watching that again.

Absolutely. Especially if you do all of the side-quests and see all the people you helped out-- they are notably absent if you don't do the side-quest. Even the moon falling sequence if you run out the last day, the cataclysm scene, gives me the chills. God fucking damn I love that game.

Multiple times during Eureka Seven, particularly the last 4 episodes, especially the ending. Cried like a little girl.

I too now get choked up whenever I hear "Walking On Sunshine" because of Jurassic Bark(Fry's Dog).

Also I am pretty sure if you didn't tear up the first time you saw Simba's reaction to his fathers death in the Lion King then you have no soul
I have no soul, and even I got a bit choked up there.

Also, I find Jurassic Bark's ending to be overrated. I found episodes like Leela's Home World and Luck of the Fryrish to be much sadder.

Katawa Shoujo represent! Pretty much the whole thing was emotional for me. I cried several times.
Ugh, this.

And I haven't gone anywhere near the neutral and bad endings, nor do I plan to.

Two paths in Katawa Shoujo got me to a tear or two. Another definately made me come close but never did.
The ending to Red Dead definatly choked me up.
Several Futurama episodes have reduced me to tears. They certainly have some great moments in that show.
And there was one more that literally had me like "wait, what? No... No! IT ISN'T SUPOSSED TO HAPPEN LIKE THIS!" but I can't remember what it was...GAH! Curse my poor memory.

1. The end of Code Geass.
2. When Ash (Pokemon) turns into stone.
3. The latest episode of Naruto where his mother explains what happened and how she and the 4th Hokage died.

I had that exact same reaction to the ending of episode 7 of The Walking Dead season 2.

Like so many others, Jurassic Bark always gets me. But along with it is the ending to Red Dead Redemption and every ending to Katawa Shoujo.
