This was way before Jericho and in my opinion a whole lot better than Jericho. By better I mean atmosphere and story wise not graphically. By todays standards it probably looks bad but trust me it sucks you in and you don't even notice the outdated graphics after about ten minutes in.
I was just playing Harry Potter on the PS1 (Emma Watson is still hot in Low-Def). graphics arn't an issue for me, ill go check it out, seems worth a look.

I was playing Morrowind the other night. I was sneaking around a tomb... everything was going just dandy. I peeked around a corner, saw nothing... turned around to do some looting and got scared utterly shitless by a Greater Bonewalker (that had been standing behind me for the last few seconds) taking a swipe at my face.

It was just so completely unexpected.

Oh, believe me, Undying is way way way better than Jericho. It's a really good game, dated somewhat, but really scary and well made.

Also i think i may have to buy STALKER: Call Of Pripyat, Goddamn that sounds awesome, Recommended? i see it on Steam
YES.

It's probably the best place to start on STALKER. There's no bugs and glitches like on the previous games, or at least not many at all.

Graphics and sound are a bit of a disappointment, but otherwise, it's really great. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Get it.
i lost my Copy of Jericho and quite frankly im glad, it was tainting my collection.

I could probably find a mod for the Grahpics if its really an irritation, sounds like a game with a high modding community.

Red Dead Redemption.

The cougars man... the freaking cougars. Out of nowhere you hear their howl, their roar and then your horse... oh how the poor thing screams with its last breath. Then you're on the same ground man, the same ground! You look to your right, your left. It attacks! It's toying with you though, it ran to the other bushes... you keep your sights trained on it, you pull of some shots, you hear it cry out in pain and you chase the fecker down.

With the final shot you breathe a sweet sigh of relief... what's that?! Another roar?! You turn immediately around enter Dead Eye and take your shot. A final shout as it falls down. You then proceed to skin your trophies and move on. You also jack the next guy's horse, but that's not a nice thing to do.

Well, the first time it startled me as I had no idea what the heck just hit me. I really hate those things man, now I hunt them even if they don't hunt me as I drive those little fecks to extinction. There is little else to do when you hate something that much. The wolves have earned my ire as well, I will get them too -- in due time.

Horror games though? Hmm... nope. I seem to see right through those as I expect it. I can't say there was a single moment that ever actually got me, that wasn't scripted anyways and even then those are pretty rare.
