When i was little, i often had to take out the garbage. One bright Hawaiian morning when i was 9 or so, i had to take out the trash. As soon as i stepped outside with a big large bag full of assorted rubbish, i saw 3 mongooses on our doorsteps, f*cking each other in practically every position possible. Since i knew better than to mess with mongooses during their happy time, i just stood and watched for about 10 minutes as they went at each other before they went away.
Later that day, i saw a mongoose completely crushed by a Ford pickup. In that moment, i realized that life was not all fun and games. Did any of you have a similar experience?

A train wreck happened feet from my house. I swear I saw bodies.

I think I win, unfortunately.

My Mom was also almost killed in a Nerve Gas attack in the Tokyo trains. I was too little to remember though.

When I was five we were asked in class to draw what we wanted be when grew up. We were told we could be whatever we wanted to be. I drew I giant robot destroying a city. Then, the teacher told me I could never be a giant robot.

Me and my brother were out in the backyard playing, i think i was six and he was four, and the neighbor's dog and it's two pups (all rottweiler-shepherd hybrids) came at us and starting biting and attacking us.

My mom was out at the store buying a pack of smokes, and my dad was at work. I got my brother into the shed, and was trying to fend off the animals with a hockey stick. My mom arrives home and hears me and my brother yelling. She comes out with a baseball bat in her hand, and brings it down on the animal's skull (I'll never forget that sound)

I learned that day that no matter how your day is going, it can always take a turn for the worse.

The part about this story that frightens me the most, was that the neighbors were home, and could hear us. They gave no apologies whatsoever and actually tried to sue my mother for killing their dog.
Your mom left a 6 and 4 year old alone to get smokes??? no offence but she sounds like a bad mom.

I believe it's "Mongeese".

OT: I watched a show called "Supervolcanoes" on Discovery channel. My mom had recomended it to me. It turned out to be an 8-hour long horror story of how Mt. Yellowstone will blow up in the next five years and kill everything on the planet by crushing it in mounds of ash that are heavy enough to break in your roof and trap you as you slowly suffocate on the noxious gasses.

It messed me up.

Man, that sucks. I couldn't help but giggle at that, though.

When I was three years old on Guy Fawkes night riding down the hill near where the bonfire was and some of the idiot stoners at the party were holding sticks with flaming embers on them and thought it might be smart to hold them poking outwards, and swing around without looking. Right when the group of kids and I rode past. The ember when right into my left eye I think. I can't remember which one but it was extremely painful. Then the idiots around him decided to run me up to the house and throw water on it, which happened to be in a dirty dish. The water was completely grey. I was lucky my Dad showed up to stop the bloody idiots.

I saw my father break a coffee mug over my mother skull, then tear up my Christmas list and throw it in my face.

Still haven't celebrated the holiday since.
