Someone on this website posted a very bad link... most disturbing crap ever.. worst part is he only got suspended *goes into feeble position sucking them* I was just a kid man!

Also i almost got traumatized someone told me to type some random bunch of numbers (654 or something like that)) into google "im feeling lucky" search and i came into a thread of escapist (my first time at escapist :D)
And it was a guy saying he typed same type of numbers i did on a thread and he said he saw most traumatizing crap ever. Cheers for that thread, probably saved my life

Witnessing the after effects of my friend comitting suicide. I wasn't exactly a kid but i was young,(a month shy of 14). I came back into the house, heard the bang and ran to find the room covered in blood and other parts of the human head. I preformed CPR and mouth-to-mouth for some time before the ambulance came and pried me off. I'm pretty sure that messed me up because noone is the same after trying to resuatate a person with the back of their skull all over the place. Not to mention her scum of a father blamed me for everything. He was a police officer and he did nothing but hurt her. Sorry buddy but it was your gun she used and i tried to help.
Oh wow really? My condolences for your loss. Also, don't want to sound like a dick, but I'm pretty sure CPR was futile at that point. boy I hope that doesn't sound dickish. I don't anything that comes even remotely close to that.
Hell no. I know it was futile but i went into shock and basic protect the female from death and first aid instincts that had been drilled into my skull by my dad took over. I honestly at the time thought i could save her. Reality check was a ***** then.
What kind of cop abuses his own child anyway. I hope he got arrested and spent years in jail, or at the very least was kicked in the groin really hard.

I can think of a few upsetting moments from my past, but nothing actually traumatizing. From what I can guess from this topic, I had it easy.

I had a nice, long trauma lasting from the first day I met Grandma until she died when I was 14. You know the movie portrayals of Alzheimer's disease? They're crap, all of them. Alzheimer's disease is where you scream and howl, positive that your grandson is trying to murder you, or when you cry for months because you can't find your brother who drowned when you were 10, or when you walk aimlessly around your ward constantly looking to escape until you've worn yourself down to a meager 60 pounds (and you're 5'10). Alzheimer's is where you die of starvation because you've FORGOTTEN HOW TO EAT.

That's pretty traumatic.

My brother stabbed me in the abdomen with a ballpoint pen.

I second that one, mate.
Alzheimer's is terrible.

When I was 5, I had a dream that Guy Smiley jumped out of my TV screen and started strangling me. If Sesame Street isn't safe for a child, what is?

...by the way, I'm 27 now, and I STILL remember every aspect of that dream...how's that for traumatic? lol

The day I realized that religion didn't make any sense and that when I died I wasn't going to heaven or hell I was just going to stop existing. I was 8.

No he barred me from her funeral, tried to have me arrested for assiting suicide but failed miserably and was only sentenced one week without pay for failing to have his issued fire arm secured. To this day he blames me and he will remove flowers i put on her grave. His wife divorced him a couple of years ago and she made a point of coming to see me and telling me that she doesn't blame me.

"Aaaaand here we have the city's police force!"

I didn't need even more reason to lose hope in humanity... especially not around Christmas time...

Did he lose the house in the divorce? I hope so, I hope he lost everything except his life. that way he'll have to live with the guilt I'm sure he feels everyday. He may blame you, but it was his own fault and he knows it. He blames you in a pathetic attempt to justify his own misdeeds. I also hope (though doubt) that hell exists so he can go there. Yes, I'm very hateful.

Wow, alot of these things are completely crazy. I feel so bad.

The worst things to happen to me are either being stung by a wasp on the face when I was like, 5. My cousin got stung, and I was running to the house to get his mom, when I got stung.

Either that or when I was sitting on my shed, when my Pokemon Gold fell to the other side of the roof of the shed. I crawled over slowly to get it, only to fall right through the roof. It kinda hurt, even though I didn't get any cuts or bruises.

[sup]Wow. My life is so traumatic[/sup]

My worst one would probably be when I fell into a cactus. See, we lived next to some mountains, which technically bordered on desert. So as kids we explored the mountains a lot (not having much toys, whatever). So at one point, I tripped and fell into a cactus. I doubt you can imagine that kind of pain; for a simulation, go find a cheese grater. Then, vigorously rub it against a sensitive patch of skin. Stop right before you pass out. That's about what it felt like.

Yeah, either that or the time I mistook a poison ivy bush for a harmless bush, and went to piss in it. I don't remember the details, thankfully, since I was like 5, but it meant I had poison Ivy on my dick. Yay me.

I would throw the appendicitis out as an option, but that happened when I was 17. It sucked hardcore, but hardly childhood trauma.

Other than that, our cows seemed intent on traumatizing us (we had enough land to raise about 20 cows on). Every time we went out into their yard, they'd chase us (me or my brother). We'd run to the nearest apple tree and pelt them with apples, which is probably exactly what they wanted. At the time, it was scary being chased by a 1000-pound beast, but in hindsight it is kinda embarrassing to be outsmarted by them; the cows wanted apples, but couldn't get them; but the little monkey-things (us) could, so they'd chase us to the trees and wait for the signal to find an apple, which was them getting hit in the head with said apple, which hurts exactly not at all.

Oddly, I don't feel at all traumatized by the time I found my dad's porn. Perhaps because I had found better by that point on the internet (I was like 12... and solidly in my kleptomania phase).

I probably should have been traumatized by all the times my parents have told me I nearly didn't exist, because my brother was such a pain as a baby (i'm the younger) that my dad almost had a vasectomy within a month after his birth. I never cared. Still don't...

Not as traumatic as the other things in this thread, but my mom said I almost died by choking on my own umbilical chord when I was being born.
