Most trustworthy game developer

Who do you think is the most trustworthy game developer?

I think I am split between valve and square enix. Both have done alot for the fans. Valve has always provided the best classics, and square enix has always provided the best graphics.

I'd say Valve, just because they work with people to produce games and currently have a program that sells games that has deals all the time.

Probably shortly after Valve would be Rockstar Games.

I don't know about Square. I suppose they practically made only good games during SNES and PS1 times, but at some point they suddenly started producing a lot of crap along with the good games... Even their more important franchises have been mostly hit or miss for the last few years.

I honestly can't say I trust them not to screw up even their big titles these days.

Define 'trust' in this case.

If you mean 'not going to screw us with DRM or something' then it's the indie-game scene and Stardock.

Or do you mean 'can be relied to put out good games' in which case I have exactly four companies I pay attention to:

Valve
Bethesda
Id

From a objective standpoint I'd say Blizzard. All of their games have had success.

From a subjective standpoint... Dunn0r... I don't know of any that has been good (imo) all-round.

And all that other shizzle. But yeah, Jak and Daxter stand out. How I miss those games.

I also like Bioware of course. ^_^ They always make me happy.

Bioware does consistently good work, although I don't always like their games
Blizzard, but not because of WoW

they delieved the goods then and they will do it again.
