I would say the Gamecube is the most conformable controller I have ever seen and not the gamecube controller, the gamecube itself.
So what is the most uncomfortable controller you have used or seen?

PS3 controller. Which is basically the same as the PS1 & 2 controller.

I mentioned this in the 'perfect controller' thread.

Can't stand the bastard; it's ugly, unwieldy, and the triggers. Good lord, those shockingly terrible triggers.

I'm jealous as hell of the PS library (PS2 specifically), but one of the main reasons I'm glad I'm an Xbox man is because of those controllers.

Mouse and Keyboard. If that doesnt count, N64. Doenst help that the control stick is limp and requires alot of force, thus pressing into my thumb alot which gets sore fast.

The Wii remote, I swear to god that thing makes my hand and wrist sore with every game I play on it.

Laptop keyboards are a close second since it forces my hand into a weird position. I've played with wired keyboards before and it was fine.

The Colecovision Controllers were pretty unwieldy.

As you can see, they were essentially TV remote controls retrofitted for gaming purposes.

Of all the ones I've used, I cannot stand the PS2 controllers. They are just too small for my big hamhands, and nothing is worse than playing for 5 minutes and your hands cramping up. Most comfortable, I had a pelican N64 controller that was tough as hell, and incredibly comfy for how weird it was.

The N64 controller, for all the praise it got for its "innovative", ergonomy actually is a piece of crap if you look back to it now.
The stick wears off pretty much the second you touch it too. I burnt through 2 N64 controllers in its lifetime but my original ps2 controller still works perfectly with no sign of wearing.
Funny I never broke through my N64 controller yet I broken at least 5 ps2 controllers.

The old old old old old Xbox controllers

Ya know....they had the memory card deals on the top for mics and such

Those were painful to use

I always did like the N64 Crossbow...it was amusing...Oh and it had to have balance

Gamecube controller was far too small and had buttons in weird places. Also a mention to Wiimotes cause I don't do motion while gaming.

I guess you didn't play much n64 then.
They didn't really "break", they just became really shitty to use mainly due to the control stick and it happened faster than with any other console I ever had (which would be sega genesis, saturn, dreamcast, ps2, xbox, 360).
I played the N64 every day it just wasn't as noticeable as many people say I guess. On the other hand I often have ps2 controller sticks literally break into large pieces sometimes from over use.

I have a number of issues with many controllers... 360 controllers have a god awful d-pad and shoulder "bumpers", the ps3 controller has the squishy, shit triggers, I dislike motion control (so there goes the wii), but the worst, I'd have to say, was the N64 controller. That stick just wore down so easily... Speaking of wearing down, or breaking, the ps2 controllers R2 and L2 buttons kept getting stuck for me..

Dreamcast controller solely because the triggers were too far back and it cramped my fingers at the knuckle something fierce.
