Who was an important person in the history of the world who you believe does not get any credit for actions the person may have done.
For me, it is John Brown. This man practically started the abolitionist movement in America and barely gets any credit. He raided the US armory(or something along the lines of that) and set up base with hundreds of slaves.
In our American History books, not only does he get barely any credit, but the books hint him as some kind of anarchist who was bent on destroying the American way of life. And what is this event the cost him his life shadowed by? The Alamo.
The Alamo still to this day gets more respect and honor, when ironically, the war in which the Alamo took place was caused by Mexico trying to get rid of Slavery. So the man who goes off on a suicide mission in the name of freedom for man gets shunned by a bunch of Rednecks who are invading a country that has nothing to do with them, all in the name of slavery. And our history books decide that that was more important
